A very intuitive and easy to use user interface. Loved the deep recovery function, which allowed me to restore files that I though were lost ages ago! You'll need root access in your android device (that's the version I've been using), so in case you don't have it, the app itseld will help you through that process by asking you email adress and sending you the instructions. On construction sites things getting broken are inevitable, especially smallish electronics. Since pictures are regularly taken or various points or materials of a project Dr. Fone has been a lifesaver at recovery of all the important information that lives on a smartphone in the field. Now if a phone is broken all the contacts are retrievable all the pictures we can get back, so I don't have to spend time tracking down the unlisted phone number of an inspector or sending someone back out to a job site to take more pictures. On average I go through about 3 phones a year... I know that's crazy. Most recently it fell in my dogs water bowl. But I didn't lose any photos or contacts or the massive amount of save messages containing construction data that would have been a pain to replace, because of Dr. Fone. I've been trying to implement with our electricians but they are not the most technology knowledgeable people and have been struggling, but most of them can barely use Excel so it's probably user error. The basic features of the program (Android) are features you can find on other websites free of charge. The software is helpful for certain backups of certain select devices, but otherwise it comes up short in able to unlock any android device aside from a handful of Samsung phones.
