Like data logging and report generation works very easy and with helpfull manual very easy to understand. **What do you dislike about WinCC?** Some time it take time to scan and templates are very leas **Recommendations to others considering WinCC:** During my holden experience I tried different company scada like wonder ware, mitsubishi, Honeywell, siemens also. But I prefer siemens and Honeywell on priority. Siemens SCADA is very easy to use and have much features. **What problems is WinCC solving and how is that benefiting you?** During my industrial projects I use wincc in plant automation and sub station automation. On both places we use data logging for 5 years, reports on mail, message, prints. Graphics are very impressive. ### 2. Specially in 7.5 platform SVG objects are very good.User can do a lot of things in wincc that professional, comfort, basic platform cant imagine. **What do you dislike about WinCC?** I think, using processes are difficult from other scada software. User cant design report in their own way unless they use script. **Recommendations to others considering WinCC:** Yeah, This is a great software. You can use the basics options easily. **What problems is WinCC solving and how is that benefiting you?** I used double screen with wincc. It hepls not to buy another pc ### 3. I think it'd be better to work on visualization tools. **Recommendations to others considering WinCC:** I strongly recommend to everyone :) **What problems is WinCC solving and how is that benefiting you?** Essentially our work is related to water processes. The last project we used WinCC was automation of uninterrupted water supply of a small city in Azerbaijan. ### 4. We can define scripts in VB and C which is a great advantage over some other competitors. **What do you dislike about WinCC?** It's user interface should be more polished and modern. Also, it is better to have a sample project in hand to start with a new one. WinCC allows easy transfer of libraries thereby reducing engineering hours. Antivirus softwares may prevent WinCC to function properly. Communication with multiple devices and accessing data from databases is advantage. **What do you dislike about WinCC?** If we have original backup if lower version project then only we can upgrade the project to latest version.
