The software is really easy to use. I've installed OpenVAS Community and implementing this product is very difficult starting from the git repo. With VulScan, you deploy an OVA and everything is straightforward! Their customer support is good and fast. Cost is a big factor with many of these security products; this solution provides a reasonable way to run frequent vulnerabilty scanning. We've found the platform to be very easy to use. I think the biggest thing VulScan is missing is a better way to manage "permantely accepted risk" vs temporarily accepted risk. I would also like a notes field on these items so I can say why I accepted the risk, or temporarily excluded it from a scan so in x months, I know what to look for and why I excluded it.
