He is always willing to support us and help us implement the most suitable solutions for our needs. I highlight his proactivity and constant support. Regarding the system, the standout feature is its ability to adapt to the maximum to each student's needs. **What do you dislike about Voxy?** The experience in individual classes is very variable, depending on the assigned teacher. Some are very good and give very good feedback to the students, but others just "deliver" a class. We have had some incidents that took too long to be resolved by the Support service or the response given to the students was not adequate. **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have "democratized" language learning in the company. Something that previously only reached certain profiles, we have now been able to make available to more people and in more geographies. ### 2. There is not much more that I can add. It is a well rounded service that offers the opportunity to practice all skills. The small group classes are good. Testing every 3 months allows students to see progress. **What do you dislike about Voxy?** I would love Voxy to offer Chinese, but I appreciate the business model of sticking to what you are good at. The backend could do with a little work for administrators. **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company mission is to supply affordable English Language learning to people in Thailand. Voxy adds the flexibility to do this in a changing world where face to face learning is in decline while maintaining the quality. A lot of online Language learning is low quality. Voxy is high quality. ### 3. There is no criticism. The texts available for reading are updated in real-time, providing users with proficiency gains and, at the same time, interaction with different types and genres of texts. **What do you dislike about Voxy?** Unfortunately, sometimes the tutorials become full of participants, and the topic chosen by the student becomes unavailable for a few days. There are integration difficulties between Voxy and the University through some API tools. The issues presented are already under review by the company, and after a meeting with the management team, the results have been very positive. **Recommendations to others considering Voxy:** The partnership is really very productive, especially due to the quality of the content that is made available to the students. **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** The Voxy course, in partnership with the curricular subjects of the Language Course, has significantly contributed to the advancement of students in relation to language study. Through this partnership, language students can practice the four language skills, advancing daily through mandatory lessons, group tutorials, VPAs, podcasts, among other methodological resources. We are concluding a cycle with Voxy, and the graduating students of the English Language Course have certainly developed competencies to work with a foreign language proficiently, thus ensuring better opportunities in the job market. ### 4. I would like to be able to buy credits month-by-month, however that's not related with the product itself. **Recommendations to others considering Voxy:** I think the best way is to try it. I also like the group lessons where students can improve their speaking skills taking part on chat meetings monitored by a tutor, this course component is a great add-on for an online English course. Finally, the mobile access to the course is also very convenient, students can use their phones and tablets for working with their units and most recently joining their live classes. **What do you dislike about Voxy?** The Grammar Guide tool the course offers is not very dynamic and a little unattractive compared to the rest of the course, it could offer videos and visual explanations to help students with grammar topics they usually need help with. The pronunciation practice tool in the Word Bank still needs some adjustment. Voxy offers a Command Center to manage students which is useful, but still needs to offer more setup options: e.g. change student's level and VPA date. **Recommendations to others considering Voxy:** I recommend Voxy as an online platform to offer online English classes, the service and product are both high quality. **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Voxy has helped us offer and online English course to students who need to study at home or while traveling. It has also expanded our course options with online services we did not have in the past. ### 11. Students can visually see how much progress they've made, how many hours they've dedicated towards their efforts, and how many activities they've completed. This information lets us individualize our student experience, helping us to encourage continued growth. It also helps us communicate this growth to other stakeholders. On another note, regarding the inner workings of Voxy, this AI based testing approach that reacts to student performance within the app is superior to standardized testing, which requires continuous improving of tests and diligence with test security. **What do you dislike about Voxy?** Voxy does not work well as an app on the iPad. One must use Safari. **Recommendations to others considering Voxy:** This is a great tool to be used to learn English, whether a business person who needs to improve spoken communication or an international student studying at the high school level, needing language support alongside English language arts or social sciences. With only a couple hours a week, when students apply themselves, the results can be impressive, as much as a full CEFR level in less than 6 months! **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Voxy has two-fold purposes for us. As a high school boarding organization, we both house students and provide English language acquisition support. With Voxy, we can give our student/clients a reliable language learning experience, whether in the US or outside the US. The Voxy Proficiency Assessment yields a score that we can correlate with the Common European Frameworks of Reference (CEFR). With this information, we can verify an admission test score or get current proficiency information that can help us place the student into an appropriate English support course at our partner high schools, and finally to measure the ongoing growth twice during each semester. Finally, the regular Voxy platform doubles our efforts in helping students prepare for other proficiency tests, like TOEFL iBT, as well as work towards general proficiency improvement. ### 12. It can be adapted to your institution syllabus. The support and success teams are always eager to help you either to solve any technical detail as well as to help you to get the best of the platform. Also, they continously do improvements at not additional cost, which is great. In addition, the added value to your students learning process is amazing as they can continue learning outside the class with real life and interest based content. **What do you dislike about Voxy?** Nothing, to be honest, so far the relationship has been very good from day zero, as communication has been alway clear and the expectations met. **Recommendations to others considering Voxy:** It is important to have very clear how do you want to use the tool for your students. We chose optional and its proven being successful, but for some students on "probation" we made it mandatory during their probation time and it also proved being successful. It is important your Academic team gets involved with Voxy´s academic team in order to get a more customized tool for your students. **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main business problem we solved was being able to offer an online platform to our more than 2000 English students without the cost of develop it and maintain it. Our students are more engaged in our courses and get a tool to improve their language abilities. We were able to offer a really appreciated added value in short time. ### 13. No other course in the market is able to offer live classes galore! **What do you dislike about Voxy?** I tend to dislike long reading comprehension activities, and some of them tend to be a bit tedious. For some of the lessons, I had a bit of a difficulty understanding how they came about their multiple choice questions or vocabulary options. For learning lessons, it is best to have similar items. I understand learning and so forth is helpful when made fun, but there needs to be some updates in technology - which I have seen. **What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Language barriers with a global product.
