What do you like best about Visitly?

Easy platform to setup and works great for us to know who is in the building so that we can notify staff in case of emergency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visitly?

We were wanting the ability to have returning guests login via their mobile phone number but that was not possible at the time of implementation. We made the suggestion to the support team, and they made note of it and within a couple of months the feature was added to visitly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visitly?

It's user friendly for the most part, and its' performance is reliable as a sign in tool for visitors when I am away from the lobby area. The screen has a very user friendly process, allows for options that streamline notifying the employee they are here without confusion and user error.

The Visitly integrates well on my desktop pc and allows for me to log in and make changes or edits as necessary when other systems are down or inaccessible. I do not use the AI Intelligence feature but have used the support in the past which was not as helpful as I hoped. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visitly?

A couple of things I don't like are the App on the iPad will often revert to the pin code requirement if a user accidentally taps the wrong thing, then it becomes useless until I come in and reset the screen. The price is too high for a company that uses it daily but doesn't use most of the features we pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visitly?

We've been using Visitly for over a year now and it has been a great addition to our front desk and visitor management process.

One of the biggest advantages is how simple and intuitive the interface is. The platform is very easy to navigate for our team, and just as importantly, it’s extremely straightforward for first-time users like customers and vendors when they check in. We rarely need to explain anything because the process is so clear.

Visitly also offers all the features we need to manage visitors efficiently without feeling overly complicated or cluttered. It strikes a nice balance between being powerful enough for daily operations while still remaining very user-friendly. It is a platform we use daily and the analytics section is very helpful too. What do you dislike about Visitly?

Most of the time it works seamlessly, but occasionally (about 1% of the time) the iPad app can lag a bit. It’s not a major issue. Easily solvable by restarting the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visitly?

Visitly is very easy to set up and use. In a matter of moments, we set it up one of our backstock iPads and now have a fully operating terminal to check in and out visitors and employees alike. We use it everyday and is a required aspect prior to entering our office space. Very useful to determine who is in the building in case of emergencies as well! What do you dislike about Visitly?

While it may or may not considered an actual downside, Visitly being a software app means it requires a mobile device to be stationary and only set up to be used as the terminal. While not necessarily a hinderance, I wish it could be installed on a miniPC paired with a touchscreen monitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visitly?

the check in process for our visitors is easy and the notifications to the person they are meeting is a great thing to save me from having to reach out especially when i'm busy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visitly?

If we have a new hire and they hadn't been added to the list yet, when they don't show up as a person to meet it won't let them still enter their name. Also on return visitors when it recognizes them, i'm not sure if they have the option to change who they are meeting. I don't know if our visitors realize they can or it won't let them but if they came one time to meet one person but then come back another time and are meeting with someone else it still notifies the last person. Regarding new hires not appearing in the host list, Visitly's host search only shows users who have already been added to the system. Adding the new hire to Visitly will make them available right away.

On returning visitors updating who they are meeting, they can actually change any previously entered information, including the host, when they sign in. Please write to us at support@visitly.io if you need help configuring either of these.

What do you like best about Visitly?

Fact that it tracks employees & visitors easily. User friendly and easy to use. We use this app solely for emergency situations where we need to take attendance and knowing his is in or out of the building is extremely important.

If I were to rate the app as of right now it would be a 7/10 and mainly because of the lack of response when it came down to investigating why we ran into so many issues with the attendance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visitly?

Ran into issues when running a fire evacuation drill, we followed up by reaching out to Visitly support and it felt like a long process, and nothing was really shared as to why we had so many issues with running through the attendance on the app. We pay quite a bit for this app and for the app to basically fail in the event of an emergency was not good to see but also to not receive any information as to why this happened was a bit frustrating. I plan to test this again very soon just to see if the issues we ran into were resolved or if they continue to happen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Visitly?

I use Visitly for the visitor signing process, which is mandatory. Visitly helps solve the problem of paper tracking and the lack of contact information. It's great that Visitly includes contact information while respecting privacy, something our visitors used to avoid sharing. I really like that I don't have to contact visitors to see if they've provided contact information—it's just already there. The facial recognition feature is really useful, especially for elderly visitors who aren't familiar with maneuvering an iPad; it simplifies things so much since they don't have to retype their information. This feature has been very successful at our facility. The initial setup of Visitly was easy with the right resources and support, allowing a smooth transition. What do you dislike about Visitly?

It freezes once in a while. For example, right this minute, I was just downstairs trying to figure it out how to force restart it and not having it frozen anymore. And this has been an ongoing issue, and I have issued tickets regarding that. I was directed to update the application with the new update, which was done, yet it is still freezing. Because of that, we have to go back to the paper signing process with the visitors, which is really not in compliance. This creates a gap where if the Ministry of Long Term Care comes, we may be in trouble because of that. The iPad is freezing all the time. Because it's freezing, we have to go back to the old process, which is not in compliance. It's not easy to force restart the machine, the iPad. IT always has to be involved and try to do something on their end that takes time. We have to issue tickets. So because of that, I would be skeptical a little bit to recommend it to someone else. What do you like best about Visitly?

I love that Visitly sends an email alert if someone is here to visit or meet with me. Participants can click my name, and it automatically sends me an email, which makes it easier since I'm usually working at my desk. What do you dislike about Visitly?

I think it takes too long to sign in. I wish there was a way that returning visitors could select their name and be signed in. Instead you still have to put in a bunch of information. So I wish it was just like you clicked your name, and it already had everything. You chose why you're there, and that will be it. What do you like best about Visitly?

I like that Visitly is very quick and simple to use when it works well. It's not overloaded with options or unnecessary features, which makes it easy to get quick notifications. The integration with Microsoft Outlook is seamless, allowing me to be promptly notified when my clients are present in the lobby. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Visitly?

Occasionally, Visitly did not inform me at all when my clients were in the lobby. There were instances, maybe three or four times over the last year and a half, where there was a delay, and notifications arrived over twenty-four hours later. I'm not sure if that's due to Visitly's issues or other factors like AWS servers or Outlook, causing a delay. It does get inconvenient when relying on this software.
