You can connect to it with almost every VR headset that can connect to a computer, and get access to a nearly limitless library of VR games to play. You can play with your friends, play online with the rest of the world, or play by yourself! The opportunities are endless. Although I have only tried this with the Meta Quest 2, I understand that it works well with the HTC Vive and Valve Index. **What do you dislike about Virtual Reality on Steam?** I own the Meta Quest 2, so accessing Steam VR can be clunky at times and requires a few extra steps to get connected. Those extra steps took a little bit to get used to, but once you figure it out it becomes second nature. Namely, you turn on the Meta Quest 2, use Air Link to connect to your computer, and from there, access Steam VR through your computer. We have also had issues with Steam games getting stuck "running" when trying to close out of them, and this typically requires going to the connected computer and manually shutting the game that way. **Recommendations to others considering Virtual Reality on Steam:** Of all the programs to use to play Virtual Reality games, Steam is by far the most expansive and most affordable, with constant sales and deals on games. **What problems is Virtual Reality on Steam solving and how is that benefiting you?** Steam VR also allows easy integration into architecture software, such as Enscape for rendering. Naturally, when I got big into VR gaming a few years back it only made sense to give Steam VR a try. It works perfectly fine with my Oculus Rift, despite the device being made by a different company. I just open steam, launch a game, put on my VR headset and start playing. It really is as simple as that and the reason why I'll always use Steam for PC VR gaming. Suited for big rooms, where you can't use oculus. But oculus has roomscale support too, although the area is smaller. Vive controllers are feeling more like you're holding something in your hand like a weapon or tool. Oculus controllers are more suited for hand shape and feeling less. **What do you dislike about Virtual Reality on Steam?** Vive controllers seems to be more durable in terms of hitting something, but I'm not sure. Can't tell about Knuckles. The tracking solution is bad. With the birth and massification of VR a lot of users are trying to get a nice use to their headsets. This all ends really nice in Steam as you get options for both paid and free to try, and being a developer is a good platform to jump on and bring that project you are working right now. You can easily browse their library and find a great amount of free and premium VR games and experiences. Great refund policy if you don't like what you bought. The system is also very stable, providing a great immersive VR experience for people who have a HTC Vive, or a Oculus Rift headset. There are often work-safety situations that can be hard to train and prepare for without visual aids. Since the tech is new and the usage is minimal at this point the time and money has not been invested yet for high quality graphics or motion detection. **Recommendations to others considering Virtual Reality on Steam:** Don't expect too much at this point--the images for work VR are often boxy, slow, and sparce. While VR does help with training, it does not fully provide a perfect environment to train in since movement of object and viewing 3D spaces can be glitchy and non-fluid. I liked that there was an abundance of game options. I also felt like it was pretty user friendly.
