I love that I only need to enter an individual's name and email address. They fill out the rest of the personal information, so there is no risk that I will enter something incorrectly. Turnaround time with VICTIG is also shorter than with our previous background check company. The site is easy to use and navigate. Lastly, I appreciated the contact I had with my account manager before beginning to use VICTIG. They even followed up after our first few background checks to make sure everything was going well. It's a little tough to compare pricing because of the high variability of prices amongst individual background checks. So far, VICTIG seems more expensive for our basic (i.e., single-state/single-name) background checks, but possibly less expensive for more complex cases. Some of our locations are pretty remote, and there are times where VICTIG Background Checks is asking our applicants to drive more than 60 miles away from their home. VICTIG does partner with our recruitment team and the applicant to explore viable alternatives. I don't like that I can't see if a candidate has gone in and provided a specimen for drug screening. I feel like visibility into this could be improved. Unfortunately, it also doesn't integrate with our ATS system. I would rate Victig as a 9 because I'm unsure of Victig's prices in comparison to other CRAs and also because there is not visibility into the drug screening status. I mainly work with the support staff and the accounting department, and they have been our most responsive and kind vendor. Everyone I’ve interacted with there is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.
