I would like to highlight some of the positive points of the Versant application:

1. It improves one's communication and speaking skills.

2. It is very user-friendly.

There is nothing to dislike in the Pearson Versant application except the voice-over to describe any problem statement is a bit slow, I think there should be some kind of speed options to adjust the speaking speed of the voice-over bot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would recommend the Pearson Versant application to every recruiter who is working in Multinational companies to assess candidates speaking and listening skills which many are already using. What do you like best about Versant by Pearson?

The customer service is excellent. My sales rep is always easy to get a hold of, and she can provide sample copies or desk copies very quickly. She can also put me in touch with the correct technical folks if assistance is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Versant by Pearson?

There used to be a one-stop 800 number that I could provide to my students for technical assistance, but now the company prefers them to start online, diagnose their problem, and then decide if a chat, email, or phone call is more appropriate. I like that we could change one thing on the backend and it would populate to all the students. It was nice that they could could access the materials at their leisure. We had some flexibility in settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We experienced a decent amount of small glitches when it came to things regarding the automatic grading of student assignments. There's were many times where we had to go back through and hand grade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Experience with Versant"

What do you like best about Versant by Pearson?

Versant helped me gauge my abilities and measure them in a way that could be shared with others and act as a reliable, formal criterion to validate my skills. The entire process went smoothly; there were no errors or glitches. Even for a new beginner, the experience was comfortable and intuitive.

I am able to solve day-to-day problems. I have realized many benefits, like the importance of improving your listening, speaking, and reading skills- something that helps a lot in education as well as in our career. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Versant by Pearson?

If I had to choose one thing I did not like as much, it would be that the speaking skills did not give an option to hear the sentence again, and it becomes tougher to process longer sentences mentally. Also one thing that can actually be improved would be that the loudness of the user's voice often affects the scores so if this could be fixed that would be great. My recommendation to others considering using Versant would be to ensure to be in a quiet environment, speak loudly and clearly. Listen well. Pearson has helped me with answering alot of questions i had with jumping into a new career. I currently am in the accounting field but after a while of realizing that this field was not for me. In 2016 i started scrolling on Pearson for some information as to where would be the best for me. Reading their in depth depiction of computer information technology gave me the conclusion that this was the field for me(as of 2020). As i am still working my way into this field of work.
