It improves one's brain efficiency to handle multiple inputs. **What do you dislike about Versant by Pearson?** There is nothing to dislike in the Pearson Versant application except the voice-over to describe any problem statement is a bit slow, I think there should be some kind of speed options to adjust the speaking speed of the voice-over bot. **Recommendations to others considering Versant by Pearson:** I would recommend the Pearson Versant application to every recruiter who is working in Multinational companies to assess candidates speaking and listening skills which many are already using. It gives you a simple intuitive UI to both organize assessments and check results. **What problems is Versant by Pearson solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pearson Versant can help you assess someone speaking and grammatical skills through a very simple test. My sales rep is always easy to get a hold of, and she can provide sample copies or desk copies very quickly. She can also put me in touch with the correct technical folks if assistance is needed. **What do you dislike about Versant by Pearson?** There used to be a one-stop 800 number that I could provide to my students for technical assistance, but now the company prefers them to start online, diagnose their problem, and then decide if a chat, email, or phone call is more appropriate. Reading their in depth depiction of computer information technology gave me the conclusion that this was the field for me(as of 2020). As i am still working my way into this field of work. This allows the student to do homework, study, practice problems online. **What do you like best about Versant by Pearson?** I like the immediate response a student receives. The fact that it can be edited to allow students to attempt multiple times and give helpful hints has allowed students to be able to practice and perfect their skills. I also like that it shows them their progress throughout the course. It allows me to assign them remote work and even post test or quizzes, which will be beneficial in the new semester during the virus. **What do you dislike about Versant by Pearson?** I do not like how it is finicky with different browsers. It is sometimes impossible for my students to be able to use this program on MAC computers. Relatively easy to implement. The questions are varied and come in multiple formats, which helps target a variety of linguistic features. **What do you dislike about Versant by Pearson?** There is a huge lack of transparency in what algorithms are being used to calculate proficiency scores. I mean, I'm assuming pitch contours, LTAS, formant structures, etc. are being analyzed in some way but even so there is a ton of within-English talker variability even for native speakers.
