Theoretically, Verblio has a great setup for writing briefs and submitting them. I appreciate that aspect of their service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Verblio? It's hard to get a writer for projects, and the work provided is often very low quality. You end up either having to send things back for major revisions or do those revisions yourself—which defeats the purpose of hiring a freelancer at a certain point. It's as simple as that: If you're not getting quality content, there's no point in hiring the service. Their whole format is likely causing a lot of these problems. Writers aren't paid until you accept their piece—but you also don't get to communicate with them until they submit the first draft. You don't even get to look at their qualifications and choose a writer. So they may well spend a lot of time on a piece, and you can't accept it because the content went over their head, and now they're probably mad that they weren't paid, but you still don't have any content for your site. Any concern or request I have had has always been handled quickly and respectfully. The team is serious about the content produced on the platform, but is also a lot of fun to work with. What do you dislike about Verblio? I wish there were a waiting period between a preferred writer rejecting an article and the topic going into the general queue. I appreciate how Verblio provides unlimited edit requests for submitted content. It is beneficial to both our needs and the writers who work with us. We are less hesitant to give new writers a chance for fear of losing credits, and new writers can more easily build their"portfolio" and rank on Verblio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Verblio? I think there should be better screening for applicants to join the pool of writers for Verblio. Although we have had mostly positive experiences with writers, there are occasions where we try out new writers and they are quite disappointing. Their grammar will be terrible, almost entirely ignore our writing style, and even produce multiple spelling mistakes that could be avoided with a simple proofread. Our core team of preferred Verblio writers has adapted to our preferred writing style and are able to generate content ahead of due dates, allowing us to plan more in-depth content requests thanks to their excellent knowledge of our industry which they've cultivated over several months of working with our team. About 20% of our content needs to be revised by our team before publishing. I acknowledge that we have a niche service offering, so that may make it challenging for Verblio's writers. Request that they add those writers, and only those writers, to your account if you sign up for their services. Personally, I've liked the time it's saved me and the quality of work that is produced and written. I don't really have any dislikes, but it would be cool if there was like an audio feedback option sometimes to explain things in the submission process of getting projects off the ground. Saving me time - I'm stacked with many projects and deliverables related to our content marketing program. This service and the quality writers cut down several hours of work I used to do in getting the base/skeleton of certain writing projects up and going. 2. Quality content - I've been pleased to date with the matching and quality of writers for our specific niche. This really helps that the writers have experience in our product knowledge domain. It requires less explaining and results in more execution in writing! 3. Speed of service - I've always been able to count on the writers to deliver on-time. Any online blog idea generator would have given better results. Also the results came 2-3 days later than initially proposed. I decided not to use their services. I didn't realize it, but I was signed up for a subscription of $459/month. I don't use that PayPal email much - so I missed the charge e-mails. I was charged 3-months in a row for a SERVICE that I didn't receive. This is not software - why am I being charged regularly? When I explained the situation, they only refunded one month.
