"My Go-To Platform for Usability Testing and Research Synthesis"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

I love Userbrain’s AI-powered analysis tools. They make it incredibly easy to identify patterns, synthesize feedback, and quickly understand what users are saying. The transcript feature is especially valuable because it allows me to easily export user feedback into my preferred AI tools, helping me create detailed, stakeholder-ready reports in a fraction of the time.

I also appreciate how intuitive the platform is. It offers all the capabilities I expect from a user research and testing platform, but without the complexity or steep learning curve that often comes with more feature-heavy tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

The only issue I’ve encountered has been occasional trouble logging into my account. That said, their support team was responsive and quickly helped me regain access when I reached out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Fast Panel Responses, and Affordable User Testing with Userbrain"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

I've used Userbrain for years now, and have introduced its use in several companies where I've worked. It's very easy to set up, with good support for screener questions and fast responses from their panel. It's more affordable than other options but still has (nearly!) all the features I need to run quick tests and gain insights. I love the fact that Userbrain will refund you if there are any issues with a particular test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

The AI features can be useful but will often misinterpret whats happening in a test, so can't be completely relied on. I'd love a reels feature BUT the lack of it is by no means a deal breaker for me. I'd also love a way to just add a simple summary note for each tester, that I can see on the dashboard. I sometimes get the feeling that I'm seeing more instances of users not treating the tasks with as much realism as I've come to expect - e.g. some are going through a "review" process or just saying what they think I want to hear, rather than approaching the test as realistically as possible. "Clean, easy-to-use with quick post-launch results"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

Clean and easy to use. It’s fairly simple to synthesise the findings after each test. Most importantly, I appreciate the quick response once the test is launched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

It’s hard to search for templates, and there aren’t many features like card sorting or tree testing. Also, setting up my own participant pool to join anonymously feels tedious, since they have to download a plugin just to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Critical Bug Spoiled Test Results - Support Response Disappointed"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

Userbrain's interface is pretty intuitive and their testing panel (people who use your software) are generally well-engaged and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

I discovered a bug that allowed people who failed our screener to change their answers and join later tests - spoiling the results, wasting thousands of dollars, and many hours of our time.

After a prolonged conversation, Userbrain acknowledged the issue, but refused to make good. A disappointing experience that ruined our prior complete satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Makes User Testing Recruitment Easy for Startups"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

This tool helps a lot with user testing, especially when it comes to recruiting participants, which is typically a headache for startups and scale-ups that don’t have a dedicated researcher. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

The note-taking feature and export options could be improved, especially since we keep our research notes separately in another tool for safekeeping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Userbrain?

Easy to set up tests and get results in minutes without having to spend significant dollars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

AI summaries are not always spot on, but in general they help to do a quick scenario of the highlights of the test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Participant Recruitment, Needs Improved Test Organisation"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

I like that Userbrain is simple, straightforward, and easy to use. I can find what I need and I don't remember ever struggling to understand the features. It also removes the pain of recruiting participants, with a very quick turnaround on test results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

I think the tests organisation, folder structure, and historical activity tracking could be improved. And I feel like the delta between what we pay for each test and the fee paid to the testers doesn't seem fair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-supported usability tests that impress"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

I use Userbrain for unmoderated usability tests and find it particularly valuable because it helps me quickly gather real user feedback. I especially like the AI-supported drafts and the evaluation with video clips and summaries of the feedback. The AI summaries save me a lot of time in the evaluation, and the automatically created video clips are very useful for communication with my clients. The AI-supported drafts significantly accelerate my entire audit process. Overall, I am very satisfied with Userbrain, also because the initial setup was very straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

I would wish to be able to organize tests project-related in separate workspaces. Currently, it quickly becomes confusing when tests for different clients are in the same account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized User Insights with Ease"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

I really appreciate how Userbrain makes it very quick and easy to set up studies and get users. The output and AI summarization are well-structured and documented, enabling rapid and effective actionable insights. Setting up a study is easy and can cater to complex needs if required. They also cater to various types of studies. It's kept simple so I can focus on the actual questions and tasks. The AI summaries reduce the time it would take to manually analyze a study and when we set a survey live, we get a fast turnaround. When reaching out to the team, they were supportive and interested in helping with our strategy, even getting 'notes from the founders,' which shows they are focused on their customers. Honestly, just sending invites to people enabled almost everyone to understand the platform immediately, allowing us to spend more focus on crafting the actual studies rather than learning a platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

I provided some feedback that I would love to be able to see more granular categorized AI summaries (confusion, usability issue, positive feedback) for each question/task. They loved the feedback and said they will be looking into it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Straightforward, Smooth Setup for User Tests"
What do you like best about Userbrain?

The setup process for user tests is straightforward and a smooth, quickprocess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Userbrain?

I've found that on the user side, the need to re-open the Chrome extension is a little annoying and should be made clearer to the user that this is required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
