It is an easy-to-use and flexible software to perform hot backups of Hyper-V and VMware ESX/ESXi/vSphere virtual machines and also can create backup images of your system disks that can be restored in case of disaster (bare metal restore). One feature that I really like is your FTP client and also your cloud integration client. I also like that I have a connection with Usilio, who is a IT management consortium, which allows you to group the Supremo contacts. **What do you dislike about Uranium Backup?** I do not like the notifications function, because their warnings are very intrusive, in addition to appearing after time. I also dislike that although I select the option of not creating record files, the program stores them in temporary files. **Recommendations to others considering Uranium Backup:** With the environment of this program, I have managed to solve the problems that my organization was dragging in terms of backups due to loss of information. It also has a feature that I liked very much and is that you can make a report by e-mail after having carried out a Backup. **What do you dislike about Uranium Backup?** I think the learning curve with this software was slow, because it has an interface with innumerable options that at the beginning can be overwhelming, but after having invested a certain time I was able to take advantage of the features that Uranium provides me. **Recommendations to others considering Uranium Backup:** From the business point of view, I think it is a software that has excellent returns in reference to the price and features offered. The installation is simple, it doesn't have many requirements, and to configure the backups you only need to select the sources (folders or files, network folders, external drives, USBs...) and the destination where we want to perform the backup (it can be within the hard drive itself, an external hard drive, a NAS-type disk cabinet mapped as a network drive, through a network path without mapping as a drive...). It offers countless options and configurations. Once the sources and destination are chosen, it is only necessary to configure the backup schedule, whether we want it complete or incremental, and the periods and times. Of course, it is necessary to have the equipment turned on and connected to the network (if necessary) so that the copy can be made, and when it finishes (success or failure) it sends an email to the address we have previously configured indicating folder by folder the number of files copied and the errors found, if any. Undoubtedly a very good free option for making good backups. **What do you dislike about Uranium Backup?** In the time we have been using this system, I have not detected any problems.
