"Collaborative, Intuitive, and Streamlined Process Mapping"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

I use Lucid primarily for creating process flows, organizational charts, staffing workflows, and visual documentation. It's helpful for mapping recruiting processes, candidate pipelines, client workflows, and team responsibilities. I like Lucid's clean UI/UX, reliable performance, and easy collaboration. The integrations work well with our existing tools, and the AI features help speed up workflow creation and brainstorming. It offers good ROI by saving time and improving time alignment, and the onboarding and support experience make it easy for staffing teams to adopt. We switched to Lucid from Microsoft Visio because of its more collaborative and user-friendly experience, making it easier for our staffing team to build and share recruiting workflows, process maps, and organizational charts in real-time. The initial setup was pretty easy and smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

I find the pricing high for smaller staffing teams, especially when multiple users need access. Some advanced features also take time to learn, and the AI capabilities could be more customizable and better integrated into day-to-day workflows. I think more flexible pricing and simpler access to advanced features would improve the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Collaboration with Lucid's Clear Visual Workflows"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

I use Lucid for creating flowcharts, diagrams, process maps, and visualizing ideas with my team. I like how it makes collaboration easy in real time and turns complex information into clear, visual workflows. It's especially useful for planning, brainstorming, and documenting processes. What I like most about Lucid is its clean UI, intuitive UX, and strong performance. It's easy to build and update recruiting workflows without feeling cluttered, and the platform stays responsive even with detailed staffing process maps. The smooth collaboration experience makes it valuable for our recruiting and account management teams. I also really like the real-time collaboration and flexibility. It's useful for mapping recruiting workflows, candidate pipelines, and client processes in a way the whole team can understand. The templates, integrations, and easy sharing make it simple to standardize processes and keep everyone aligned. The initial setup was quite easy and straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

One area I think Lucid could improve is by making some advanced features easier to discover, especially for new users like me. The interface can feel a bit busy when I'm working with large, detailed staffing workflows. Better filtering, more customization options, and a smoother way to manage large boards would definitely enhance my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Diagramming with Seamless Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

I like how intuitive and easy it is to create professional-looking diagrams with Lucid. The wide range of templates makes it much faster to get started without having to build diagrams from scratch. The simple drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to arrange and update components, while real-time collaboration allows my team to work on the same diagram together and provide feedback immediately. Lucid is easier to use for collaborative diagramming, which was a big reason we switched from Microsoft Visio. The initial setup was quite easy, and the intuitive interface made it straightforward for users to understand the main features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

One area that could be improved is performance with larger and more complex diagrams. I've noticed that performance can drop when diagrams become very large, especially when they contain hundreds of shapes, connectors, and nested elements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple and effective tool for creating clear visual diagrams."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

What I like most about Lucid is how quickly I can turn an idea into a clear visual diagram. The drag-and-drop interface is easy to work with, and having ready-made shapes and templates makes it much faster to create flowcharts and process diagrams. It is especially useful when I need to explain a technical idea visually rather than describing everything in text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

The main downside is that larger diagrams can become a little difficult to manage once there are many elements on the canvas. It can also take some time to get familiar with all the formatting and layout options. A simpler way to organize complex diagrams and manage larger canvases would make the experience even better. "Intuitive, Collaborative Diagrams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

Lucid is how intuitive and collaborative it is. It makes it easy to turn ideas into clear visual workflows, whether I'm mapping customer journeys, documenting processes, or collaborating across cross-functional teams. The real-time collaboration, extensive template library, and seamless integrations with tools like Jra, Confluence, and Slack make it easy to keep everyone aligned without adding complexity. It has become a reliable tool for brainstorming, planning, and communicating ideas in a way that's accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

While Lucid is feature-rich, some of the more advanced capabilities are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can be limiting for smaller teams. Large, complex diagrams can occasionally feel sluggish to work with, and there can be a slight learning curve when exploring advanced automation or data-linking features. I'd also like to see more customization options for templates and better offline functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Simple Collaboration with Lucid"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

Lucid is a clean, simple tool that’s easy to use. The drag-and-drop functionality is especially helpful and makes building things feel straightforward. It saves me a lot of time and helps me end up with a nicer version of what I’m creating.

I also like that you can share a project with other people and collaborate on it at the same time. Onboarding others is very easy because the interface is so simple; you really only need to show them for a few minutes.

It’s also possible to use AI, but I don’t think it’s necessary for my use cases. Overall, the product is usable with a low amount of resources, so I’ve never had problems with resource usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

There are no controls. With this tool, I can do what’s expected. The premium version also unlocks more features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lucid AI Makes Flowcharts and Brainstorms Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

I like that Lucid AI turns text prompts directly into clean flowcharts, groups brainstorming sticky notes, converts complex diagrams and extensive boards into clear text overviews, and evaluates ideas through a chat pane.

Upsides: Shapes snap and shift automatically without manual alignment. No manual coding. It keeps inputs and confidential data fully isolated, and it bridges workspaces with external tools via Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, Slack, and Microsoft Copilot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

While the AI can auto-generate diagrams from prompts, it rarely gets the structure completely right on the first try. Users often end up spending time manually shifting boxes and labels to make everything line up. The generative engine does well with high-level, standard workflows, but it frequently misses nuanced, highly creative, or deeply complex engineering structures and defaults to overly simplistic layouts. There’s also frustration that the AI prompt bars and suggestions can’t be fully turned off or hidden to declutter the workspace for those who prefer standard manual diagramming.

The free tier is tightly limited, including a 60-shape maximum and restrictions on the number of active editable documents, which strongly pushes individual users toward premium plans. Offline capabilities are weak, and support seems to rely mainly on community forums. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Flowcharts and Templates, Clunky on Laptops"
3/5
What do you like best about Lucid?

I like Lucid’s usability and the templates that make it quick and easy to get started. I can use flowcharts to break down complex processes into a simple view that’s easy to read and navigate, and I find them simple to use for collaborating with my team and helping cross-functional partners understand how we can work together. Sharing chart links is simple, and I can quickly modify an existing view as business objectives change and communicate those changes to our partners. I also found the initial setup easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid?

Sometimes I find Lucid quite clunky and difficult to use on a laptop. Building flowcharts can be tricky when I don’t have two monitors. During setup, figuring out who needed licenses was challenging, and more guidance from the Lucid team on who would benefit most from an enterprise license would have helped with our rollout.
