I LOVE have you can make custom reports and rearrange data. It helps tremendously in reporting team/product performance. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** The only thing I dislike about Periscope is that it takes awhile for the true information to populate. I know we can refresh, but sometimes it still takes longer than that to report. **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** Periscope is solving performance visability. With Periscope, not can you only monitor productivity but also holistic team metrics! I love the fact that you can watch thousands of people online streaming from a certain location in the world. I have made friends off periscope. It is very easy to use and fun. I have streamed a few times and it is very easy to get viewers while streaming. Interacting with your viewers is quite easy as well and you can use this as a way of growing your social media profiles or your brand. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** I with there was a way to use your gopro to stream. For example: periscope app could ask if you want to use an external camera on android phones to broadcast. **Recommendations to others considering Periscope:** Great app to do video streaming to the world. **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** Very easy to share your live stream with the world. ### 4. If there is a conference or speaker that I want others to hear I can stream. I can stream myself teaching or sharing too. It's an easy way to put myself out there as a salesman and to let others find what I have to offer. It also helps me find others I can learn from or want to connect with. Very helpful tool. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** I don't like how explicit it can be. You have to be careful what you search or come across as some content can be highly inappropriate. I believe the app is for 17+ so it makes sense why this content is allowed but oh well. I also don't like how few users there are, it isn't the most popular social media platform out there but it does have its uses. **Recommendations to others considering Periscope:** I recommend using it but not emphasizing it. It's uses are limited, at least for what I am doing but I thought I'd try it. It's been fun but hasn't been the most productive outreach method in any way. **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** Periscope is helping me solve unique sales approaches that I've never used before. I stream myself or things I am doing and it allows me to share more broadly and openly what MWi is or what my role is and how we can help other companies. ### 5. It is very very VERY user friendly. It provides us with such a create connection to the world around us, allowing us to grow and learn from a NUMBER of people. I think this platform could be very useful for life long learners like myself who want easy access to knowledge, especially from the peace of their own home. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** I dislike the loading time. I think this is just because of the mass amount of information available, but I have a hard time loading the software both on my home network and work network. Perhaps this is due to the interface when you first log in? I'm not sure - but this is a small (but inconvenient) issue I have had with Periscope. Luckily, it hasn't deterred me from the product! **Recommendations to others considering Periscope:** Take some time to really get to learn the software, it is truly amazing. I know celebrities, big businesses, individuals, AND up and coming businesses all utilize the platform and think it could truly make a difference in the future! **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are staying linked in to the world around us! It is so cool to see what other businesses are doing and how they are utilizing a live software like this! We are constantly learning and growing and seeking ways to improve based on live feeds we have seen featured on Periscope. ### 6. Another thing is that the video thumbs are extremely small. **Recommendations to others considering Periscope:** I think something that should improve is the video quality and the static noise that sometimes comes on. **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a great way to reach out to people who are outside of Houston. When we have events, other people can see and get inspired to host a similar event. I really enjoy watching other programs on periscope to get ideas of marketing and events. ### 7. The picture is clear and loads quickly. The channels have wide-ranging interests and varied content. They seem to match the description almost 100% of the time. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** Unfortunalely, it just doesn't have the reach of Facebook so its usually not the first option that people think of when they are live-streaming. It is a better product but just doesn't have the sheer numbers of subscribers. **Recommendations to others considering Periscope:** Use the channels. They are great, Also, it's a step up from Facebook once you get the hang of it. **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quickly and effectively setting up a live stream on-the-go; It is easy to point people to exactly where to go. It is a great way to instantly get access to your followers and engage with them. A useful tool is that it allows you to save your perisope so that people can view it later if they missed out when you were live. I like that you are able to connect w/ the audience through the live comments coming in. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** I wish that there was capability for more than one user to live stream to periscope at once. If you could combine periscopes it would be great for doing live interviews. There is also no way to pause the stream while you are live. **Recommendations to others considering Periscope:** Give it a try and play around before going live on your primary platform. **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** Periscope introduces a new component where followers are seeing/accessing you live. I had a student use it to promote a recurring seminar he is starting for students on campus on leadership and the response was great for him. Periscope was easy to use and easy to sign up to **What do you dislike about Periscope?** I did not like that during his video I had some difficulty with seeing other viewers comments. When I initially began the live video I was able to see it but after I got off and back on it was not longer available to me. It was my first time using it so I'm sure I would have been more knowledgeable on to correct the issue **What problems is Periscope solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connecting with my students is easier and more fun for them to be engaged. I realize it allows me to meet them where they are at. I don't have to force a relationship with them, They are more interactive and more willing to view because it is a software they use in their personal lives. ### 10. Ability to interact with your viewers is a plus. Very easy to start a broadcast and end a broadcast. Like the easy ties to the Twitter platform. **What do you dislike about Periscope?** The interface was a little confusing at first but not a real detriment.
