Tungsten Clustering for MySQL 8.0 Reviews & Product Details

Tungsten Clustering for MySQL 8.0 is a comprehensive solution designed to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability for business-critical MySQL and MariaDB applications. It enables organizations to deploy MySQL clusters across on-premises, cloud, hybrid-cloud, or multi-cloud environments, facilitating continuous operations and real-time data replication. Key Features and Functionality: - High Availability : Automated failover mechanisms prevent downtime by promoting standby replicas to primary roles during local failures, ensuring uninterrupted service. - Disaster Recovery : Multi-site clustering capabilities allow for seamless site-level failover, providing robust disaster recovery options and maintaining data consistency across geographically distributed clusters. - Scalability: Supports the addition of nodes and clusters both locally and globally, offering multiple load-balancing options to handle increasing workloads efficiently. - Performance Optimization: Utilizes asynchronous replication, read/write splitting, and parallel threads to enhance performance, making it ideal for multi-site WAN deployments without database locking or blocking. - Security: Ensures full encryption for all cluster communications, complying with PCI and HIPAA requirements to safeguard sensitive data. - Management and Monitoring: Provides centralized management through GUI, command line, or API, along with granular observability and integrations with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and PagerDuty. Primary Value and Problem Solved: Tungsten Clustering addresses the critical need for continuous database operations in environments where downtime can result in significant revenue loss. By offering automated failover, real-time replication, and seamless scalability, it ensures that MySQL and MariaDB databases remain highly available and resilient against failures. This solution simplifies complex database operations, reduces manual intervention, and provides a cost-effective approach to managing multi-site, multi-database environments, thereby lowering the total cost of ownership.
