"Exceptional Platform with an Outstanding Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

Our experience with Truescope has been excellent. The platform is powerful, intuitive, and extremely effective for monitoring media coverage and generating meaningful insights. It has quickly become an important part of how we track and analyze media activity and is arguably one of the most intuitive media intelligence platforms available on the market.

What has made the experience truly special, however, is the team behind it. In particular, working with Sean Cleveland has been fantastic. Sean brings an incredibly positive energy and a genuine commitment to ensuring clients succeed with the platform. His responsiveness and professionalism stand out, but what has impressed us most so far is his depth of knowledge, which has been truly unmatched in our experience. Jean Saucier has also been an amazing resource and an absolute pleasure to work with.

Sean and the entire Truescope team have made our partnership both productive and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a company that pairs such a strong platform with a team that is this engaged and supportive.

Highly recommended for organizations looking for a reliable, insightful, and client-focused media monitoring solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

Nothing. We don’t dislike anything about Truescope. That said, we do wish they would add PR capabilities to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Useful Monitoring Dashboard and Custom Newsletters, but Timeliness and Reporting Need Work"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

The team that addresses our issues promptly most of the time. That they are able to customize our daily newsletter to our desired template. The dashboard is quite useful for media monitoring and ad hoc alerts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

Daily newsletter is often not sent by the stipulated time of 9.30am as agreed in the contract. The downloaded excel reports are very raw and not very useful without lengthy manual interventions. Backend dashboard also has some limitations, such as reports can only include articles up to 14 months prior to present day. When working on annual reports, 14 month is a challenge. "Reliable Real-Time Monitoring with Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

Truescope’s customer service is the best of any media monitoring platform we’ve previously used, and the price is very reasonable. Their representatives consistently go above and beyond to solve problems and help meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

I wish Truescope offered a mobile app that could be used on a phone. It can also be challenging to download video clips. Even though there is a download button available in certain areas of the platform, it often results in errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from John Croll of Truescope

Thanks Blake for the review, we really appreciate the positive comments and where we can do better.

"Faster Monitoring, Smarter Risk Prioritisation, and Responsive Client Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

Faster daily monitoring and reporting

Pre-set alerts and saved searches reduce manual scanning and cut daily monitoring time significantly.

Better prioritisation of risks

Relevance scoring, tagging, or sentiment indicators help me quickly identify which items need escalation versus routine awareness.

Simplifies internal reporting

Exportable summaries and visualisations make it easier to translate raw coverage into concise updates for management.

Supports crisis response workflows

During fast-moving situations, the platform acts as a central reference point for what is being said, where, and how quickly narratives are evolving.

Overall, good client servicing team who responds effectively to our queries each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

Limited customisation for reporting formats

Exports are useful, but customising output to match internal reporting or senior-management formats still requires additional manual editing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The depth of data and ease of use sets Truescope apart"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

The breadth and depth of data we get through Truescope is a real step up from what we had before. We switched from a competitor and the difference in coverage was noticeable straight away. We're picking up relevant mentions across news, online and social that we were simply missing with our previous platform.

On top of that, the platform is really easy to use. Our team was up and running quickly without needing a lot of hand-holding, and the dashboards make it simple to pull together reporting for leadership without spending hours on it. It's become a core part of how we track and communicate our media coverage internally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

It took us a little while to fine-tune our search queries to get the results just right, but once we dialled them in (with some help from the Truescope team), the results have been spot on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Truescope Keeps Us on Top of Media Monitoring Across Topics"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

Truescope has been very helpful for us because we are a small department and it's the extra set of eyes we need to help us monitor what's going on in the media, both mainstream and social, on a wide number of topics that can change at any given time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

The only downside we really had was at the beginning, when we were first setting up the platform. We hadn't really gotten our heads around the filtering process so we were getting a bit overwhelmed with the number of hits in each Truescope report. But over time and with the help of our contact at Truescope (Tressa), we've been able to get that to something much more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Truescope Makes Media Monitoring Easy with Clean Reports and Excellent Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

Truescope makes media monitoring feel manageable. The platform is easy to navigate, the reports are clean and customizable, and the customer service is excellent. The team is responsive, helpful and genuinely invested in making sure we get the information we need. It saves us time and makes it easier to share meaningful coverage and insights with our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

There is not much I dislike, but as with any media monitoring platform, some searches can pull in results that are not fully relevant. Continued improvements to filtering and search refinement would make an already strong platform even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Next-Gen Media Intelligence with Real-Time Event Coverage"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

Truescope is the next generation media intelligence platform putting it way ahead of traditional media monitoring. I like the fact that it gives you cover as events happen rather than being a clip service of events after they have happened Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

So far I have not found anything negative about the Truescope platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Real-Time Media Monitoring with an Intuitive Dashboard"
4/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

The real-time monitoring and comprehensive media coverage across traditional and digital channels make it easy to stay on top of relevant news and conversations. The intuitive dashboard also makes it simple to filter and surface the insights that matter most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

Occasionally the shortlisted articles can surface some irrelevant articles, which requires additional filtering. Improved AI-driven relevance ranking would make the monitoring experience even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI, Fast Insights, and a Responsive Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Truescope?

As as a SaaS media intelligence company, Truescope have managed to get the blend right between intuitive UI / UX, breadth of media, speed of insights supported by a great team - our account management team are always available and responsive should we need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Truescope?

Nothing standout as a dislike, though occasionally we get irrelevant content, but this could be partly due to the broad search terms that we are using. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
