"Tinkercad should be the first choice to whom start learning 3D design"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is a fantastic tool to learn 3d design. You could create 3d models, Arduino projects and much more in Tinercad. Tinkercad is a free platform for all aspects of learners of 3d. There is a teacher module in Tinkercad. From there, you could establish classes, invite students. Electronics and coding sections aim to STEM education. You could design lithophanes, business cards, nameplates, Minecraft objects, lego parts etc. without any hustle with this evolving tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

You could design relatively low poly objects in Tinkercad. The designed object's total surface triangles can't exceed allowance value. The same thing applies when importing files to the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Use with students as young as 1st grade!"

What do you like best about Tinkercad?

I work in an elementary school and use Tinkercad with 1st-5th graders. I love how it reinforces geometric and measurement concepts while making 3D design accessible. Students enjoy the bright colors and easy to use interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

The object generators are hard to navigate as there's no search tool and you have to browse through pages of items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tinkercad and 3D printing"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad has the following advantages:

- There's no need to install anything, just register and use it online with your preferred browser.

- It's free.

- It has a very user-friendly, intuitive, modern interface that is easy to use even for children, allowing you to create complex models of figures in a short time.

- Easy to export in STL file format to use with your 3D printer model. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

- It consumes a lot of resources, if you don't have a relatively powerful computer it can run very slowly and your browser may crash when working on modeling your figures or pieces.

- It requires an internet connection with high bandwidth, or we will have performance issues.

- It is designed to make eye-catching but simple figures, if you want to create something more complex it won't be useful.

- It includes a somewhat limited library of basic shapes that we all hope will expand over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great software for learning CAD"
5/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

Tinkercad is a simple, easy to use and easy to understand design software that is easy enough to understand that anyone can use it and understand the basics of CAD. One of the best features about it as well is the ability to switch between orthographic and isometric viewing easily to get a better idea of what you are doing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Since it is a simplified CAD program, it is much more difficult to make complex shapes on there than on something like Inventor or Solidworks. Molding functions, screws, and 2-D planes are not included, so it is not ideal for custom shapes and designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great program to start learning 3D design"
4/5
What do you like best about Tinkercad?

The interface is really easy to use allowing the user to do a huge range of possibilities without any effort. The program is quite simple, you just need a few days to get used to Tinkercad. It provides STL files which can work with a 3D printing slicer program. The tutorial is really good to get started in Tinkercad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

In complicated design it is a bad program, you won't be able to use the program as you expect. Also, the server sometimes doesn't work at all and this means that you won't be able to work until it gets fixed. More shapes could help the user to make more designs. It is a very easy-to-use environment with very vibrant designs and colors, which makes it suitable for use as an educational resource for young ages. Additionally, it is a web application, so there is no need to install software on the computer. It also allows for very easy export of designs to be printed on a 3D printer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tinkercad?

Although it is a minor issue for the use I give it, in the end it is quite limited compared to other more advanced 3D editors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
