There are only upsides to using textcortex I believe. I am a law student in India and with ChatGPT and a premium membership to it it seems so overhyped as most times information isnt accurate at all. But, with TextCortex I dont have that trust being broken or shaken as the information on it is 100% accurate and it had the feature of uploading PDFs way before ChatGPT introduced the same. I was assigned an AI Based Research Paper in one of the hardest courses in all of law school and I have appreciated the use of this software in my methodology which has utilised the research I had uploaded on it in fascinating ways. Thank you to the developer for this being of such immense help even just as a freely accessible software. What I like most about textcortex is the ability to choose which type of databases we want to search in. Additionally, we can also tell it what information we want it to remember, which is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Text cortex is different with other AIs due to:

They also provide which agent that suitable with what we need or try to search. This is helpful because something may not available only in internet browsing.

I've had a great experience using Cortex.text. The platform is intuitive, responsive, and delivers solid performance across the board. I especially appreciate how easy it is to integrate and work with. While there’s still some room for improvement, the overall quality and reliability definitely stand out. The most positive aspects about textcortext is the non greedy nature. Even at free tier, you gain access to most all features and it performs at superb quality and comprehensive output, as if one almost is at premium. Essentially the only difference between free and pro, is size, query number and model access, but performance, context windows and efficiency remains intact. There isn't much negatives about textcortex to mention at all from my stance. The only let down, is the lack of at least one reasoning model at free tier, even just a small would do, while the powerful cutting edge ones remain reserved at premium. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The TextCortex interface is lovely - and customizable. I'm thrilled with the ability to upload a number of documents and the ability to organize them in different folders for different uses. The specialized bots are excellent, saving users from a lot of the work of crafting their own customized instructions for every usage scenario. I also appreciate the ability to "pay for what you use" - to set the Premium price based on how much you'll use the tool (with most platforms, it's an all-or-nothing payment system). TextCortex is full of benefits for a wide variety of use cases owing to its powerful features and extensive free plan, which allows anyone and everyone to leverage AI tools, agents, prompt templates and a customizable knowledge base.

As a fledgling digital business owner, specializing in digital products and services, I've taken advantage of TextCortex's knowledge base feature, which has allowed me to develop my business by uploading a lean business plan and other documents before ideating further using any of the many LLMs offered on the platform, which offers personas, reasoning models, web search and other awesome features.

I also write a Substack newsletter, and the knowledge base feature has been fantastic for brainstorming content ideas.

On top of it all, the developers regularly update TextCortex with new similarly impressive tools and features. While the free online app (plus the Mac app, which I also use with great results) are generous enough to handle most people's workloads, the paid plan – at about $25 a month – is a fantastic deal when you consider all the different LLMs to which it connects you.

I'd highly recommend anyone interested in AI, productivity or simply tech tools in general give TextCortex a try (the Chrome extension is a great starting point, but again, both the web and Mac apps are top notch). It's easy to set up with the platform's "Cortex Academy," which teaches you to use TextCortex from top to bottom, and after about six months of use, I've yet to run into a single bug or issue. I love TextCortex's ability to rephrase sentences, which is very useful for my research. The software is easy to set up and I find it excellent overall.
