I use TextCortex for creating story writing, and it helps me with writer's block, making my stories feel more emotional. I like the most that I can create agents to help with specific tasks since I'm often all over the place; having a specified agent helps me stick to one thing, which is a big help. I like that it helps me create visually and emotionally impactful stories. I appreciate its ability to search the web and find trending content, which is useful for checking out competition and boosting my productivity and reach. Additionally, the extension itself is a big help for my productivity, making things easier when I'm backed up on scripting and other tasks.
As I mostly use the AI for coding, I am glad it is easy to integrate TextCortex into common IDEs. I also really like the user interface, which is kept minimalistic on first view, while it has many features "under the hood", if you open the settings. The Performance of TextCortex depends on the model used, but is generally comparable to "the biggest multi-model coding Plug-In". As I can use DeepSeek V4 Pro, it is also cost-efficient while extremely good at writing code. I did not really like the Onboarding, as it did not load completely, but I guess that's fine for me, as I am used to use similar tools. The available AIs are a very good selection, however, I focused on a european provider for DeepSeek V4 Pro, so I can't say too much about the other ones.
I like that TextCortex is fast and adapts to what I need. I also appreciate that it not only improves my writings but also teaches me the points where I can improve so they don't happen again. The initial setup was easy, pleasant, and feasible.
