## testRigor Reviews
  ### 1. Powerful Natural language Automation that is fast, scalable and stable.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julia T. | Sr. Automation Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

Super-quick learning curve - within 2 weeks, my team got decent size smoke and regression test suite for a web-based app. Effective for different types of software: API, web-based, and desktop apps. Great script stability and self-healing option add to it even more. Therefore, it requires significantly less maintenance than other tools we've tried. Works amazingly well with checkboxes, drop-downs, pop-ups, and other challenging CSS classes that are hard to automate and maintain in other tools. Supports email verification, file downlods and verification of many other useful functionalities.

Additionally, technical support is available 24/7 and is exceptional.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

Literally nothing. I am using TestRigor for the 4th time in my career in different organizations, and it never failed me.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a very fast-paced team with only 1 QA Engineer, and without TestRigor, we will not be able to test as efficiently as we do now. It helps to rapidly automate and update scripts for changes, which is fast and easy with their Reusable Rules.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariane B. | Internal System Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2022

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

For any manager trying to grow a company, testRigor codeless software testing tool is an excellent choice for building a software testing process that is scalable for the future. The amount of time and effort saved by implementing testRigor from the start can help avoid the costly process of replacing inefficient processes later down the road, allowing the team to focus on putting more value into the company, especially if it's not a software company like ours.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

Since our company doesn't have a strong QA team, we had a hard time initially even starting to write tests. Not that the process was challenging, but there was a lack of software testing knowledge on our end. testRigor doesn't have any educational materials that would help companies to be more efficient as QA professionals. Although support on the testRigor software testing tool side was excellent, we eventually worked out how to start covering our internal system with tests.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team doesn't have that many technical people, so no code or codeless software testing solution was crucial for us. Also, this approach saves lots of money by not hiring expensive developers.

  ### 10. Using TestRigor for test automation as a product manager of a startup is easy, quick, and effective.

Using TestRigor speeds up my testing. I spend less time/energy manually clicking around my application. TestRigor also allows me to check more features and improve the quality of my product.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

I dislike that my parent suite and child suite are not synced to start on the same page and it creates issues with my Reusable Rules.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It catches errors on our application and allows me to create tests for future tickets. I am more productive.

  ### 11. Our team was mostly relied on manual testing until we discovered testRigor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Art D. | Software engineering manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2022

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

Our team was mostly relying on manual test coverage with our projects, but then we tried out testRigor. Since implementing testRigor, our team pretty much unanimously feels that we’ve both improved the effectiveness of our software testing and now spend far less time on manual testing and test design. We also have way fewer gaps in our testing process thanks to the thoroughness that testRigor brings to our project.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

There is no strong test management system that we can use to better organize all our tests. It does have tags and other options but we have to manage a spreadsheet as well to keep up with hundreds (soon will be thousands) of tests.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

testRigor helps us to stop relying on manual tests and keep track of all small changes that are frequently happing in our continuous development.

  ### 12. Cut down on overhead and ensure maximum test coverage and quality

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artem D. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2022

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

For any team wanting to cut down on overhead and ensure maximum test coverage and quality, testRigor is definitely the way to go. I don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed by a software testing tool like this, after having worked with so many over the years. The team at testRigor has also been great to work with, which is a huge plus. It’s so much better than trying to work with products that don’t provide any assistance or have poor documentation.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

Everything works as expected. I can't share anything critical that I would suggest as an improvement.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to be modern and have robust automated test coverage, but for such a small team, the amount of work and the pressures of meeting market demands meant that test maintenance often took a backburner role. testRigor looked like a choice for modernization.

  ### 13. Finding challenge in Testing native apps

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2022

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

Works well with Websites.
NAtive apps have some challanges

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

I noticed issues with Android native apps.
It seems your tool does not work with Native apps.
In the native app, it recognizes the first text box only.
If you see in the screenshot, it enters all values in the first input box.
IT does not recognize other fields and dropdowns.
Here is the script:-

check screen contains "Contact Manager"
tap on "Add Contact"
check screen contains "Add Contact"
type "Rob" in "Contact Name"
type "123456789" in "Contact Phone"
type "Rob@gmail.com" in "Contact Email"
tap on "Home" dropdown right to "Contact Phone"

IT enters all values in the first text box only.

I didn't even find any option to delete the suite.
Can you tell me how to delete the suite?

Please help for any solutions

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to test native apps

  ### 14. Convenient and easy way to automate QA testing

testRigor allows you to build tests to fit your software, quickly and easily forming tests to your own standards. You can click and build a test efficiently, and set it to your specifications.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

It does take some time up front to build tests in testRigor, but you can run them over and over again. There really are no down sides!

**Recommendations to others considering testRigor:**

testRigor is excellent software and can be tailored to your needs very easily. The support staff are helpful and have great tips - if you can't figure something out, they will help you get it right.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are testing both standard and customized options in our software, so we can feel secure that the builds we push out are working properly, and that our customers get a better experience from new features - they are not beta testers, they are users.

- Regular maintenance feature sometime does not work and the framework is not triggered at a scheduled time.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- it covers most of the UI cases, and the exploratory cases feature is also a good one to have.
- Lacks support for safari browser in the free tier.
- Unable to locate elements which do not have any identifiers in UI

The UX could be slightly more intuitive.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keith P. | VP of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2020

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

The testRigor product is easy to use. We are able to onboard Junior engineers to use the product with impactful tests, which is something that other products cannot offer. The team behind the product is responsive to requests, turning around enhancements for SMS and phone in a short period of time. Also, the product allows us to mix UI and Rest API tests in the same test case. We find this very useful.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

Initially, the User Interface and Reporting was not sophisticated. We had concerns that the front end reflected the back end. We were pleasantly surprised at how powerful the product was, and then testRigor made a UI and Reporting updates that matched the prowess of the backend.

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems everyone is trying to solve - automate a high percentage of product as quickly as possible. The testRigor product allows us to do that. The machine-based approach allows all-level manual engineers to write complex test cases. With testRigor, hundreds of test cases are created to reduce time, and minimal clean up, providing us with larger coverage quickly. The tests are written in English, for ease of use. We were able to quadruple the number of automated test cases with a minimal investment in time.

  ### 20. A MUST Automation Test Suite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily H. | VP Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2019

**What do you like best about testRigor?**

With a small team of QAs at Metadata, we always struggled with a large amount of manual testing effort especially on regression test period. With TestRigor AI, we are able to integrate their test framework with our CI/CD and free up a lot of time previously wasted on manual testing. Our QAs now can focus on new feature requests and tricky test cases instead of repetitive tasks. TestRigor AI help us improve our test coverage with almost no efforts by simply install their script on our site. We can also create customized tests for more complicated scenarios with simple English step descriptions. Last but not least, their support is amazing. We have a dedicated Slack support channel and we were able to resolve any problems or questions raised during the integration in timely manner.

**What do you dislike about testRigor?**

The Test Result table could be flatten so that we don't have to scroll down the whole page. This is more UX usability than the quality of the tests

**What problems is testRigor solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have almost 1000 manual test cases and our QAs are very busy with these manual repeated tasks. With TestRigor, we were able to set up 300+ automated tests that run on our non-dev servers during development cycle (feature and regression tests) and 20+ smoke tests . All can be run automatically
