Tried the new version of TestCollab and found it so superior to the previous version. Here are few things I liked-

I like the new Test Run page as it’s very user friendly

I like how I can @mention my team mates and communicate with them

I really like the new in app notifications

I like how we can now create new suites in bulk using CSV

Saved filters saves us a lot of time

New bulk actions works great

I like how we can filter test cases by so many fields and export them easily.

Overall I am highly impressed with TestCollab’s team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I would like to see support for BDD for test cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Upon signing up for TestCollab 2 which their team launched recently, I was quite impressed with this product. I really like the clean and modern User interface as I tried 5-6 other test management software but most of them are pretty outdated.

Using the automatic assignment feature, I can now evenly distribute workload among all my team members without manually wasting my time.

It's nice how Jira integration has a separate page for checking the bugs, which is a great feature in that we don't need to dig through each plan to find the bugs reported by testers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most interesting with this tool is the fact we can log everywhere with every computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The tool is very long. The reaction time after a click is very long

- The report is not precise enough. I would like to see results about all steps. We only can see results about test case :(

- When you open a suite, the first sub-suites open themselves automatically. I would like to choose by myself which one I want to open.

- Reporting UI is not really nice

Very usable UI compared to other solutions in the same price point, and still prettier than Zephyr standalone. Workflows out of the box are very simple and the ability to create templates is perfect for generating smoke test cycles, while tagging can be used in conjunction with execution templates to generate targeted regression execution suites Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Graphs cannot be filtered. The reports are not very configurable. The inability to remove test cases from test cycles is irritating. Custom fields cannot be used for filtering in the new UI. Failing to set the assigned user before saving selected test cases to an execution removes selections which is poor UX when a handful of tests in nested suites were chosen. The timer on the test is a bit much, it would be nice to have a way to clear time data from all executions as it does not paint a good picture of how long a cycle would take us if someone left the window open for several hours over lunch or something. A simple field for a manual entry of time required would be fantastic for estimating the length of test cycles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Test collab promises a lot, especially when dealing with test cases that can be used across multiple projects (when for instance you're declining the same product to different clients with some specificities). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Performances drop significantly as you add more test cases and users to your project.

Many features are half-finished (linking test cases, could be improved and be less rigid), there are still bugs (we have had "ghost" test cases showing up in our database).

The UI is quite stark and you cannot fully preview a test case when in a test plan page, requiring to enter the test case page (which means loading a page, which takes a long time when your project starts to grow).

It is not possible to create your own reporting template, you have to use those included with Test Collab, and in our case none of them are suitable for our needs.

Overall the Test Collab still feels like a beta. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to have a base set of tests that can be edited. But running them in categories or by section is super helpful when testing through issues or problem areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm not a fan of the interface where you need a separate screen. Maybe a minimized version with a pass, fail, pause option only (like a mini tab on the side of the screen)...?

I would also suggest some sort of interface allowing the importing of excel/csv files with test cases into testcollab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
