What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

Tecnomatix has given us another way to look at those decisions. Rather than only considering whether a garment works from a design and customer point of view, we can also look at what happens when that product moves through the production process and where resources or timings might become constrained. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

One thing I didn't expect was how much detail was needed around the production setup. We had to go back over one part of the process because what seemed straightforward from the design side wasn't quite as simple operationally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Practical Tool for Better Project Visibility"

What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

The learning curve is probably the main drawback. Some parts take a little time to get familiar with, particularly when I am only using the platform for specific tasks rather than working in it constantly. That said, once I know where to find what I need, the process feels much less cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

We are still using it, so I am continuing to see where it can add value as the business develops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Supporting CNC Production Planning and Scheduling with Tecnomatix"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

I like the idea of being able to examine a production process virtually before making changes in the workshop. For precision manufacturing, having a clearer picture of how jobs and resources interact can be useful when planning different production runs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

Building a useful simulation depends on having accurate production information, and preparing that data can take time. The results also need to be checked against actual shop-floor conditions before they can be relied on for operational decisions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improving Manufacturing Process Visibility and Production Line Optimisation with Tecnomatix"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

What stands out about Tecnomatix is the ability to model production processes and explore how changes might affect workflow, capacity and bottlenecks. For a company working with industrial automation, having a clearer view of manufacturing operations can be useful when evaluating process improvements and planning production changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

The initial modelling work can take time, particularly when the virtual setup needs to reflect the real production environment. Some details may need to be revisited before the simulation gives a useful picture, so there is a learning and setup effort involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Evaluating Production Scenarios in Precision CNC Manufacturing"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

I find the scenario-testing capability the most relevant aspect to consider. Being able to compare alternative production arrangements can help engineering teams discuss proposed changes with a clearer understanding of their possible consequences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

Simulation is only as useful as the assumptions behind it. Preparing a realistic model can require considerable input from people who understand the actual manufacturing process, so it is important to allow for that work rather than expect immediate answers. "Making Manufacturing Planning More Practical"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

I really like the idea of testing manufacturing scenarios in a virtual environment before making any changes on the shop floor. It gives engineering teams an additional way to explore different options and evaluate what might work best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

There’s definitely a learning curve, especially when you’re working with detailed production models. It can also take a while to gather and prepare all the necessary information before the simulation becomes truly useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured Process Simulation for Confident Manufacturing Changes"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

The main value for us is having a way to examine manufacturing scenarios virtually and evaluate the process before putting changes into practice. It gives us a structured approach to process simulation and validation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

One consideration is the amount of detail that needs to be clarified when defining simulation requirements. As our project is ongoing, we are still working through some of those requirements and cannot yet assess every aspect of the experience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improving Factory Planning for Bespoke Seating Manufacturing with Tecnomatix"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

The potential to evaluate manufacturing processes virtually before committing to a production approach is particularly useful. For configurable seating systems, being able to examine different assembly scenarios could help with planning complex projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

Creating a useful simulation requires detailed and accurate engineering information. When product configurations change, the model may need updating, which can add work before the results are ready to support decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Practical Approach to Manufacturing Process Simulation"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

For me, it’s the ability to see the process from a different angle. Instead of treating every production change as something we have to work out as we go, we can explore the scenario first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

The level of detail can make the initial setup feel heavier than expected. We’ve had to spend some time making sure the information going into the process is properly defined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practical Manufacturing Simulation for Product Development"
5/5
What do you like best about Tecnomatix?

I like having something concrete to work from when discussing manufacturing options. Instead of every conversation being hypothetical, we can use the simulation work to make those discussions more specific. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tecnomatix?

It can take a little time to settle on exactly how a scenario should be represented. We’ve had to revisit a couple of requirements as our thinking developed, which is worth allowing for at the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
