Tech Was Here Reviews & Product Details

Tech Was Here is a QR code management platform designed to streamline repeat service requests for home-service companies. Technicians place a durable, serialized QR service tag on serviced equipment, scan it, and link it to the customer, location, and equipment record in a private workspace. Homeowners can later scan the tag with a phone camera to access an equipment-specific page showing the service company's details, without needing an app or login. Customers can submit service requests via a form or call the company directly. Requests arrive with customer, site, and equipment context, providing teams detailed information about the unit and reported issue. The platform's workspace lets companies view requests alongside customer details, service addresses, equipment models, and submission times. The system eliminates friction in repeat requests, such as searching for contact information or creating accounts.
