TaskRay takes project management and places it inside Salesforce, creating a platform that is (somewhat) customizable and able to utilize the best of the Salesforce relational database while adding another transparent layer to a single source of truth. Internal time tracking is very convenient. Drag-and-drop functionality feels very tactile. The learning curve on TaskRay is still a relatively steep one, especially if your users are unfamiliar with project management. Understanding when to use tasks, task groups, sub-projects, and projects takes some experimentation, dedicated time, and Salesforce platform confidence. If your org is not in Sales, someone knowledgeable will need to create internal support documentation.

The TaskRay interface is easy to use and allows you several different view styles to choose from based on your preferences to manage your Projects and Tasks. The integration with Salesforce offers flexibility allowing you to customize what you want to see in TaskRay. Using SF Automation tools, we were able to easily create and replicate project templates for all aspects of our business related to Onboarding, Support Development Work, and Professional Services offered.
