What do you like best about Tanda?

What we love most about Tanda is having one system that manages everything from onboarding and workforce management through to payroll, STP and now Payday Super. It has significantly reduced duplication, improved accuracy, streamlined compliance, and saved our team a huge amount of administration time across multiple hospitality venues. What do you dislike about Tanda?

Overall we have had a very positive experience with Tanda, however some areas of the user interface and navigation could be more consistent. For example, some reports automatically generate and download, while others require manual downloading, which can be a little confusing and inconsistent for users moving between different areas of the platform. What do you like best about Tanda?

Tanda is easy to use while still offering a wide range of practical and useful features. The features are intuitive and it is not bloated so it makes using Tanda a delight.

The rostering tools are especially useful, making it simple to build a roster and to adjust and manage shifts without the process feeling complicated. The weekly roster template feature saves time when building out a roster, allowing pre-set shift times and being able to work around staff unavailability fast. I also like how Tanda provides important information quickly when drafting shifts and displays award specific condition reminders for each shift, making it easier to ensure obligations are fulfilled.

The weekly planner feature helps to forecast the upcoming week and allows us to see where they may be budget shortfall or overspend.

The onboarding process for Tanda as both an end user and manager is perfect, it is quick and easy to understand for any worker allowing a faster and more pleasant process overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tanda?

What do you like best about Tanda?

We transitioned our business to the full Tanda package in 2025, and we've been very satisfied with the decision. Not only has Tanda saved us hundreds of man-hours over the past year, it has modernised countless HR processes.

By far the most impressive part of Tanda has been the ongoing support. Anytime we've encountered something we needed assistance with, there was an accessible help option available. Tanda Dan (AI chat) is very helpful, but it doesn't stop you accessing help from a knowledgeable human on the other end of an email if you need to go one step further.

Thank you to the Tanda team for all your patience and help over our time, particularly those like Ethan who will offer personalised support, step-by-step instructions and endless patience for follow up questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tanda?

There are a couple of areas that could potentially be better equipped to handle high staff turnover; such as the talent pool and job ad platform, but we're seeing developments and improvements coming through all the time, consistently refining and adapting the program. What do you like best about Tanda?

I really enjoy using Tanda for its easy clock-in/clock-out feature, which makes it seamless to stay on top of my timesheet and keep everything up to date. The onboarding was also very well guided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tanda?

What do you dislike about Tanda?

With regards to checklists and audits, contracts and documents, it would be great to be able to have more flexibility in the data and formats that we can use.

What do you like best about Tanda?

We've been with Tanda since the early days - their third customer actually - and it's been really cool watching them grow and improve into the powerhouse they are today. Our gym managers absolutely love the shift auction feature. Before Tanda, covering sick calls or last-minute gaps was a pain - lots of phone calls, group chats, and manual shuffling. Now staff just pick up open shifts through the app and we're good to go. It's saved us tons of admin time and pretty much eliminated our short-staffing issues.

The fitness award is notoriously complex and honestly a bit of a headache, but Tanda does all the heavy lifting on the compliance side. We don't stress about penalty rates or overtime calculations anymore - it just handles it. The support team is genuinely helpful when we need them, and the platform itself is straightforward enough that our managers got the hang of it pretty quickly. Can't imagine going back to the old manual way of doing things. If you're in fitness or hospitality dealing with award stuff, definitely worth checking out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tanda?

Tanda has made what I do more efficient, more reliable, more informed, and more practical.

Aside from creating streamlines to archaic processes we still had in place, it has also increased the reliability of the information I use and the information I share. These two aspects on their own have made me a better HR leader.

As well as this, because the information is so much more accurate, I've saved all this time with its efficiencies that I can now use the information it provides me to be more informed about my business - better information means I can make better and more aligned decisions.

And finally its ease of use - both for myself and for my colleagues across all levels of the business - Tanda makes everything easy to see and use which means I have less queries coming my way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tanda?

I do feel that the set-up of the system could be a little more organised.

I started with the uploads of information and employee setup when really i should have started with creating all of the positions first and ensured they were right.

What do you like best about Tanda?

I am learning more about Tanda everyday. The support articles are great and very detailed. We have also had a LOT of help from Alex Hall. What do you dislike about Tanda?

I would like the syncing to Xero be more frequent than hourly. Getting multiple kudos requests from the Tanda bot after reading a support article. One is enough as when you are in a hurry this can be frustrating.

I also want to say that this G2 review pages on Organisation / Feature Ranking / Platform insist on selecting answers I don't know because I was not involved in implementation or I have not used these platforms, but does not provide an N/A option so therefore my responses are inaccurate and are guesses.
