What do you like best about Sysdig Secure?

Sysdig agent can be installed anywhere where your workload is running. The native integration in Kubernetes is quite simple and quick. The features are really powerful going from providing a comprehensive overview to a very detailed report of vulnerabilities affecting our workload and the infrastructure where they are running. The ability to scan our images from all stages is really appreciated. The new Risk spotlight really helps to prioritize vulnerabilities. What do you dislike about Sysdig Secure?

The agent and components resource consumption, but It’s acceptable for an agent-based forensic tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sysdig Secure solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to build a full container security program that covers all the container lifecycle addressing security risks on all critical steps in our DevOps cycle. Sysdig Secure helps us in implementing controls at several stages: build, registry, and runtime. Working in a multi-cloud environment Sysdig provides cloud-native tooling with features to do image scanning, runtime detection on Kubernetes, and vulnerability management (tracking and alerting). Sydig plays also an important role in our security shift left strategy as it allows to implement several security tests early in the process and including also contribution and review with engineering teams.

We are ensuring that our deployment both infrastructure and workload follow good practices and compliance like NIST and CIS Benchmarks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sysdig Secure?

Secure is drop-dead simple to use. Dashboard graphics provide 'at a glance' overview quickly providing situational awareness of our environment. What do you dislike about Sysdig Secure?

My biggest grip w/ the platform is loading times for pages with thousands of rows. I don't attribute this 100% to Sysdig as our network has routing issues but the overall speed of the platform seems sluggish at times, generally during peak US work hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Sysdig Secure?

Sysdig is exceptional in runtime protection areas. From simple container and process monitoring until the point of the actual hardening. Image profiling is very useful at a point when you want to harden a workload. It's very simple to use and can even replace manual seccomp policy creation.

The vulnerability engine is pure gold and the new risk spotlight feature is incredible and allows us to focus on the real and imminent risks. It also integrates with Snyk which makes our developer's life much easier and the remediation process much more efficient.

The Falco rule engine has tons of built-in rules which can be easily extended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sysdig Secure?

Network monitoring is the weakest spot, it does provide some basic connectivity flow but not more than that.

The admission controller is very limited.

What do you like best about Sysdig Secure?

- The product is built on open-source software (Sysdig Falco);

- It has strong technical capability, allows for flexible policy configuration and benefits from a seasoned threat research team who are well informed of the unique threats affecting containerised workloads;

- It is backed by a knowledgeable technical support team who understand their product and Kubernetes security. Their guidance has been exceptional, both from a strategic and operational perspective. What do you dislike about Sysdig Secure?

There is really not much to dislike about Sysdig. It has a strong technical capability, it is well supported, and actively maintained, new features and product improvements occur frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Sysdig Secure solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sysdig provides us with deep visibility on vulnerabilities affecting our workloads, both during build and at runtime. Currently it is the only tool we have available that allows us to easily identify resolvable vulnerabilities and priortise remediation based on severity. It also provides us with a comprehensive view on vulnerable containers at runtime, which is extremely useful during critical incidents.
