"Sumsub: Reliable and Feature-Rich Identity Verification Solution"
5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

Sumsub provides an excellent combination of functionality, performance, and ease of use. The platform is intuitive for both administrators and end users, integrates well with our existing systems, and delivers fast, reliable verification. Their AI-powered verification helps automate reviews while maintaining high accuracy, and the dedicated support team has been responsive and knowledgeable throughout onboarding and beyond. Overall, it offers strong value for money and has been a great partner for our compliance needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

The biggest area for improvement is the onboarding process. The implementation timeline can be longer than expected, with multiple agreements, approvals, and production sign-offs creating unnecessary administrative overhead, particularly for reseller partners. In addition, while the ability to escalate support tickets is appreciated, the first-line support team could benefit from deeper product knowledge to improve first-contact resolution and reduce the need for escalations. "Reliable, Scalable KYC/AML with Responsive Support from Sumsub"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

Here is the natural translation:

Overall, we have had a positive experience working with Sumsub. The service is reliable, handles large volumes of checks well, and covers our key KYC and AML needs. For our business, it is especially important that the platform is stable and can process a large number of users quickly and efficiently.

I would also like to highlight the work of the Sumsub team, especially our Customer Success Manager, Anastasia Korneyeva. Whenever questions arise, the team is usually quick to get involved, explain the details, and help resolve any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

That said, there are still some areas that could be improved. First and foremost, we would appreciate greater transparency in pricing and a clearer breakdown of usage across individual services. When volumes grow quickly, it becomes difficult to forecast the final cost in advance. We would also welcome greater flexibility when reviewing commercial terms for existing customers. "Fast, Well-Structured UI With Seamless Platform Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

The UI is structured well, and it's easy to find what you are looking for. It integrates amazingly with our platform to make verifying your account as easy as possible for a customer, but also for the agent who might be reviewing it. It works super fast with our back office, and when you approve an application, it is almost instantly translated into other connected workspaces. I honestly cannot give an opinion on the support, since we haven't ran into any major issues that would require reaching out to them, ever since I've been working with it. They are great at planning, scheduling meetings to discuss future implementations, and suggesting the best courses of action. I haven't used the AI aspect of it, but I'm sure it might be helpful, just not to everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

Lately, the accuracy of the extraction of names/information out of certain documents has led to a manual review by an agent. It's a no-brainer for that to be upgraded soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Readable UI, but Limited Configuration Control and Unhelpful Support"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

UI interface that makes it easier to read the informations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

Limitations remain in allowing clients to control configuration and threshold settings. Despite raising these issues multiple times, they have maintained that the current setup is inherent to their system. Support has also been unhelpful, as it does not address the core problem, and human support agents appear to lack sufficient technical knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sumsub Workflow Builder: Flexible Verification Logic Without Dev Help"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

What I like best about Sumsub is the Workflow Builder - it lets us build our own verification logic without needing a dev team for every change. It's flexible enough to set up the review scenarios we actually need, like splitting soft and hard rejects for nighttime automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

Honestly, nothing major to complain about - it covers what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Customize and Use, with a Knowledgeable Team"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

Sumsub is very east to customize and use and their employees are very knowledgable and easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

It's difficult to obtain metrics, there should be a dedicated section on the platform for key metrics; also when new features are rolled out, the training provided isn't always adequate, it sometimes leaves many questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Multi-Layer Security for Peace of Mind"
4/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

There are several layers of security in place to ensure a thorough, well-refined security check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

It’s not very clear when it comes to manually approving user requests. Seeing only “Action Needed” is confusing; you end up having to double-check everything and cross your fingers, hoping you’ve done it right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Comprehensive Tool, But Is It Genuinely Secure?"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

Sumsub offers a wide range of verification features and seems to cover many different document types and regions. The platform is somewhat powerful and has a comprehensive set of tools for helping with compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

Where to start: My primary concerns are about complexity and security.

Security Concerns: The verification process feels like it could be significantly stricter. At times, it seems too easy to bypass, which raises concerns about its reliability for catching sophisticated fraud.

Lack of Transparency: It's confusing to understand which specific security regulations (KYC, AML, etc.) are being applied and how. The platform needs to provide more transparency on the compliance logic.

Complexity: The platform could be more simplified. The user interface is not always intuitive and can be difficult to navigate, making the overall workflow feel more complex than necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Irina Nam of Sumsub

Thank you for such a thoughtful review and for trusting Sumsub as the “heart” of your onboarding at Voys SA. We’re really glad our coverage and automation help you deliver fast, compliant sign-ups.

We also truly appreciate your candid feedback on security strictness, transparency of compliance logic, and platform complexity. These are key focus areas for our teams, and your input will directly influence our ongoing improvements.

If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to review your current setup together to strengthen fraud controls and streamline the workflow for your team.

What do you like best about Sumsub?

I really love the new Summy AI automations, along with the updated dashboard and the applicant forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

Unfortunately, we’ve run into a few issues where duplicate accounts aren’t being detected due to various factors, which has resulted in a loss of funds on two occasions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wide Product Support and Fast, Helpful SamSung Customer Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Sumsub?

I like the variety of products that SamSung supports and provides, which help us to answer basic compliance and legal requirements and needs. What I also like is the customer support on SamSung. Anytime we do have a problem, we receive information and additional support and feedback within minutes or hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sumsub?

I think that end-customer-facing features can still be better, also in terms of user experience and customization. Second, part is webhooks information that do arrive within the customer verification process. We are unable to extract sufficient details from the user flow for analytics.
