Straion Reviews & Product Details

Straion is a governance and rule-enforcement platform for engineering teams using AI coding assistants like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Cursor. As development teams adopt AI agents at scale, coding standards, architecture rules, security policies, and compliance requirements get lost in scattered CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md files that drift, contradict each other, and go stale. Straion replaces that per-file, per-developer chaos with a single source of truth that automatically delivers the right rules to every developer's AI agent—before the first line of code is written. Instead of hoping each engineer keeps their markdown files current, Straion maintains a centralized rule hub versioned in your own Git infrastructure. Rules live on a dedicated branch, reviewed like code through pull requests, so CODEOWNERS and branch protection govern your standards exactly as they govern your codebase. Leave Straion and you keep every rule. Key capabilities include: Centralized Rule Hub — One place to define coding standards, architecture patterns, security policies, and compliance rules across your entire organization, whether you have 5 developers or 5,000. Dynamic Context Selection — Straion automatically determines which rules apply based on task, team, project, domain, and tech stack, so your AI always receives relevant guidance. Task Plan Validation — Catch violations at the planning stage, before tokens are wasted or issues surface in code review. Audit Trail & Deviation Tracking — When an agent can't satisfy a rule, it requests a documented deviation with a reason and a named approver. Every decision is on the record for your next audit. Git-Native Workflow — Rules stay as plain files in your repo, synced by CI on every merge, with an optional self-hosted deployment. Straion is particularly valuable for teams building embedded and safety-critical software, where a single undocumented deviation becomes a finding to defend at audit. It provides agents with the applicable MISRA rules before they write, and logs every deviation with its justification and approver. Set up takes about five minutes: install the CLI, connect your repo, and your AI agents inherit your standards from day one. Straion helps teams ship enterprise-ready, standards-compliant code at genuine 10x speed—turning AI coding governance from an afterthought into an automated, auditable system.
