Before selecting SpreadsheetWeb I evaluated many competitive products. I found SpreadsheetWeb to be optimal for my needs. The platform is robust and reliable, and it supports almost all of the Excel functions I use regularly. The UI is very flexible but, of course, has a learning curve to overcome (see below). However, technical support is very responsive and extremely helpful.

Like all no-code apps, there is a learning curve to overcome. But, as mentioned above, technical support is very responsive and helpful when I have questions. One area I have yet to master is the use of style sheets. More examples and tutorials on how to do this would be helpful, such as a use case for style sheets. We use Spreadsheetweb to distribute our workbook calculators online. Their customer service is excellent--responsive both via phone call and email, which was particularly helpful during our training period. The development and implementation of our workbook conversion was straightforward. The spreadsheet web team was able to stick with our timelines as initially discussed. Overall, there was a learning curve and our whole team had to be trained on how to use it, which took some time. I have previously developed a full blown SaaS solution which I sold to a major international consulting firm. But it was a proven solution and I was willing to invest heavily. The Athena project has never been field tested. Its Excel prototype is well designed. But it can't serve the purpose of field testing well. It enabled our company to deploy useful tools to the structural engineering community who specifies our products but doesn't often have the tools available to them to do so easily. We are excited to use SSW to improve our relationships with the people who most influence whether our products get used.

SSW is easy and intuitive to use. A person with good Excel skills can deploy a web tool with no knowledge whatsoever of HTML, Java, etc. and easily update it as needed. And, if you do tricky things beyond the capabilities of the SSW Wizard, the Pagos team is there to support you.

And, using SSW adds the Pagos team to your team. They are honestly incredible in terms of resourcefulness, responsiveness, and quality of work.
