"Fast, Code-Driven Model Building That Speeds Up Data Iteration"
5/5
What do you like best about Snorkel Flow?

It shifts model building from slow, tedious manual labeling to a fast, code-driven iteration loop where your data improves as quickly as your code does Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snorkel Flow?

Snorkel Flow is built squarely for large enterprises and Fortune 500 budgets. There is no lightweight self-serve tier or transparent credit pricing, making it completely out of reach for solo builders, early-stage startups, or smaller teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Programmatic data labeling to train our custom PyTorch claims models"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Snorkel Flow?

In our insurance claims platform, training custom PyTorch extraction models requires thousands of labeled historical claim rows. Because of strict insurance privacy rules, we cannot send sensitive claimant data to external labeling services, and our internal desk appraisers are too busy to label spreadsheets by hand. I really appreciate how Snorkel Flow lets us automate this process using code instead of manual labor. Using their Python SDK, we turn our senior adjusters' domain knowledge into simple Python labeling rules. When building training datasets from massive contents inventory spreadsheets, our rules scan the 'Item Description', 'Brand', and 'Model #' columns to automatically tag items into the right internal 'Depreciation' and 'Disposition' categories. Snorkel Flow combines all these rules, resolves conflicts automatically, and exports clean training data directly into our PyTorch pipelines and Weights & Biases tracking runs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Snorkel Flow?

While writing code to label data is a huge time-saver, debugging conflicting rules can get tricky. When we have fifteen or twenty different Python functions checking messy commercial inventory items at the same time, figuring out why two rules disagree takes a lot of trial and error. Because of this learning curve, our non-technical domain experts cannot easily adjust the logic without help from an engineer. Additionally, running the labeler across millions of historical claim rows uses a lot of memory and makes the dashboard noticeably laggy. Finally, their enterprise pricing is quite expensive for mid-sized teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
