This helped us keep better processes that were static. ### 4. SkyDns have lot's of servers and choose what best for you to give you high bandwidth. also you will get 15 days trial period for first use. **What do you dislike about SkyDNS?** 15 days trial is too short, i hope they will change it to 30 days initially. most frustrating part is installing skydns because you have some knowledge to use it is not available to use direct you have to grab it from github and then execute it with command prompt. **Recommendations to others considering SkyDNS:** Highly recommend to keep safe your privacy from other world. **What problems is SkyDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me to keep my privacy hidden from other world and i can visit websites that are not allowed in my office. ### 6. In my experience with I.t, software, a good VPN and DNS Provider are vital, this one is locked down and honestly very well developed with more than sufficient dns ports that are very new, fast, clean and reputation.. It's solid, they run solid dns ports to run through, New id's that' aren't washed up. From my dns provider this is a top shelf reliable company who will have your back for sure! **What do you dislike about SkyDNS?** The price, and the over all extensive confusion that came with, due to the details and fine print,I myself whom is an I,T, major and savant, even found that the over all extensive nature it keeps, is almost overwhelming,but after you understand it gets easier. **Recommendations to others considering SkyDNS:** It's compicated and detailed. It's not for a beginner,if you stay on top of it, it's. Okay cause it will get easier. It's expensive, and maybe a bit over priced but it's worth it for many reasons, I found it to be too much effort, too much confusion too expensive. But check it out, they're worth it, **What problems is SkyDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Locking down my small business secutiry for various reasons, I m a firm believer that internet traffic and web securiitps vital and it is also often overlooked. CoreDNS is a better alternative **Recommendations to others considering SkyDNS:** I would say look for CoreDNS or other better than this. There are a lot of products better than this available in the market. Following are few recommendations CoreDNS Eureka Bind Consul **What problems is SkyDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I switched to CoreDNS. SkyDNS helped me a lot. It took me time to learn but now I am more into CoreDNS and have completely switched to it. More companies prefer other products than this. In the Wi-Fi router settings, the DNS is indicated and within 5 minutes everything starts working. 2. Filters for W-Fi routers are powerless over HTTPS, there is no such drawback. 3. Does not require any large investments or long settings. 4. You can fully understand and evaluate the service during the free test period (14 days). 5. Unlike Yandex.DNS, and other analogues, everything is configured here. **What do you dislike about SkyDNS?** 1. The interface seems a bit outdated, and, perhaps, could be clearer. For example, when you select access to sites only on the white list, all the checkboxes of the filter are immediately removed. By the way, filter switching does not always work. 2. When the filters turned off the Internet, the Android phone immediately recognized this and turned on LTE. Support could not tell which host to add to the exceptions. Found it by experience. **Recommendations to others considering SkyDNS:** Budget solution for home users, small and medium businesses, educational institutions, libraries and operators of access to the Internet, which allows you to differentiate access to websites and Internet services without large financial and technical costs. **What problems is SkyDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Used at work and filtered bad sites and advertising. ### 9. No faults after setup though. **What problems is SkyDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed a open source option to provide us with service discovery that had minimal setup time and configuration. Unfortunately the installation and maintenance took far longer than expected. Once setup we were good to go. ### 11.
