## About Broadcast
Broadcast is self-hosted email marketing software for developers, agencies, and technical founders who would rather own their email platform than rent it. You install Broadcast on your own server, connect the email provider you already use, and send. The license is a one-time payment. There is no per-subscriber pricing and no monthly bill, so a list that grows from 500 to 500,000 costs the same to license. Broadcast covers the full campaign workflow: broadcast emails, drip sequences, automation via Autopilot, subscriber management, segmentation, opt-in forms, reusable templates, link tracking, and open and click metrics. It also ships a full REST API with official Ruby, Python, PHP, and Node SDKs, a CLI, and MCP support for AI agents. Because you run the server, subscriber data never leaves infrastructure you control, which is why Broadcast is a common answer for teams with GDPR or data residency requirements. Broadcast integrates with Amazon SES, Postmark, Mailgun, and SendGrid, and with any SMTP provider. Two one-time licenses are available: a Regular License at $250 for one server, and an Extended License at $1,000 for up to 25 servers.
