"Simple, affordable API that just works for agency social tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

The pricing is refreshingly simple — one request equals one credit, no confusing multipliers, and credits never expire. Being able to start on the free tier and actually test the endpoints before paying was a big plus. As an agency tracking Instagram and TikTok metrics for our creators, having both platforms covered through one clean REST API with the best per-credit rate I could find made it an easy choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

Honestly not much so far. If I had to pick something, the free tier is a little small — 100 credits gets used up quickly when you're testing multiple endpoints across platforms, so a bit more room to evaluate before committing would help. More detailed documentation and ready-made code examples for common use cases would also make getting started even faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Instagram data API, moved our monitoring to it in one day"
4/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

We run an SMM service and needed our server to read public Instagram counters (likes, views, followers) to check order quality. In our trial of 29 posts and profiles every request succeeded, and the numbers matched another provider we tested exactly, 29 out of 29. The API is simple: one endpoint per object, an x-api-key header, one credit per request, and easy-to-parse JSON. No Instagram account or cookies are needed on our side, which was the main reason we switched. Disclosure: Scrape Creators gave us free bonus credits for leaving this review; the ratings and opinions above are our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

The smallest paid pack is $47, which is a lot for a small team that needs only a few thousand requests a month; a smaller pay-as-you-go option would help. Responses took about 2-3 seconds in our test, which is fine for background jobs but slower than one alternative we tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple Pay-As-You-Go API with Clean JSON"
5/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

The pay-as-you-go pricing with no expiring credits is exactly what an early-stage project needs — no monthly commitment. Authentication is dead simple (just an x-api-key header, no OAuth), and the Instagram Reels search endpoint returns clean, structured JSON with everything I need: play counts, video URLs, thumbnails, and timestamps. It correctly handles multi-word keyword phrases, which was a real pain point with other providers. The date_posted filter for pulling recent content is a nice touch that saved me from filtering client-side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

Under heavy concurrent load the Instagram search endpoint occasionally returns a 500 error tied to an upstream Google rate limit ("Google search request failed: 429"), so I had to add client-side throttling and smarter retry logic to keep collections clean. It would help to have documented per-endpoint rate limits and a dedicated 429 response instead of a generic 500, so clients can back off correctly. Higher-throughput or burst-friendly tiers would also be useful for batch collection workloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Social Sentiment Integration, Ideal for Non-Coders"
5/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

I like the simplicity of implementing Scrape Creators into my projects. As a coding neophyte, I'm thrilled that I can finally turn my ideas into reality using plain, detailed written instructions. My creation LLM recommended Scrape for its easy integration, and it only took about 7 minutes to go from initial registration to API integration. That's pretty remarkable for me. What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

I think it would be great if Scrape Creators provided a daily or weekly report on token usage, whether by email or another means. Additionally, having a detailed breakdown of what platforms it can scrape, including updates when these platforms change, would be helpful. I’d also like to see comparisons of its effectiveness compared to an API directly from the social media sources, especially since sourcing an API from some platforms like X is difficult, and Reddit recently changed their easy API process. It would be nice to know how close Scrape Creators can get to the "real thing." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Single-Endpoint Social API with Clean JSON and Built-In Transcripts"
4/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

The single-endpoint API for pulling Instagram and other social content is the standout for me. I call it programmatically to turn reels and posts into clean media URLs, captions, and transcripts, and it consistently returns well-structured JSON. The biggest upside is that I don’t have to manage login cookies or worry about my own accounts getting rate-limited or flagged, since the scraping runs on their infrastructure rather than mine. It fit into my internal tooling with almost no glue code, and having transcripts returned automatically saved me from an entire separate transcription step I’d already budgeted for. What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

Honestly the main gap is that it's very API-first, so there isn't much of a dashboard or UI. If you're not comfortable writing code you'll get limited value out of it, and even as a developer I'd like a simple console to test endpoints and watch credit usage without wiring up a script first. The docs get you going, but a few of the newer social endpoints are thin on examples, so I spent some trial-and-error working out exact response shapes. Pricing is fair, but the credit cost per endpoint could be surfaced more clearly up front so monthly spend is easier to predict. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick Start, Clear Documentation, One API for All Platforms"
5/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

Getting started is really straightforward: obtain the API key from the dashboard, test the endpoint in the playground, and you'll have your first successful request in minutes. The fact that data from TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube can be retrieved via a unified API saves me from crafting and maintaining my own scrapers. The documentation is clearly structured, and the credit model is transparent because I can always see in the dashboard what a request costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

The starting credit is very limited with only a few credits, which is hardly enough for real testing. Additionally, there is a large gap between the entry package for $47 and the next step for $497; a smaller intermediate package or a low-volume monthly subscription would help many solo entrepreneurs. During onboarding, I would have liked more ready-made code examples directly in the dashboard in addition to the video tutorial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Scraping with Swift Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

Scrape Creators gives me reliable TikTok data since TikTok has no public API. I like that I can use just one API key in a header and get clean, consistent JSON right away. Every response has the same predictable structure, so I wrote one small client and plugged it straight into my database without any parsing hacks or cleanup code. The initial setup was also very easy, and I got my key and made my first request in a few minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

I find it frustrating that the hashtag search returns the music user account as 0, so I need to make an extra request for each sound. It would be much more convenient if the real user account was filled in the hashtag results or at least documented that it's always 0. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexibility and Power in Data Management"
5/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

I love that Scrape Creators doesn't require me to have a monthly subscription. I can load as many credits as I want, which allows me to better control resources and easily scale up or down. This is especially useful because my client flow is very fluctuating, and the flexibility of the credit system helps me manage that efficiently. Additionally, the initial setup was easy since I usually handle APIs, so everything went smoothly. It was also a good recommendation from ChatGPT to find a provider like this that allows me to use credits without fixed plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

I don't have any issues with the platform to mention errors yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Instagram Data Retrieval, Needs Documentation Clarity"
4/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

I really like how Scrape Creators simplifies the process of getting structured public Instagram data without the hassle of maintaining proxies, sessions, or a scraper infrastructure. The API is straightforward, making responses easy to work with, which saves a lot of time compared to managing Instagram scraping internally. The Instagram profile, posts, and reels endpoints are especially useful because they provide structured JSON data quickly and efficiently without needing to manage cookies, proxies, or browser automation. The initial setup was very easy, with a simple process for obtaining the API key and integrating responses into our backend. This ease contrasts sharply with the complexity of setting up traditional scraping methods. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

The main area I’d improve is the documentation around credit usage and pagination. It would be helpful to see more clearly how many results each endpoint typically returns and the exact credit cost for larger data pulls. I’d also like broader Instagram Stories support, since that would make the API more complete for our use case. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortlessly Analyze Marketplace Data with Scrape Creators"
4/5
What do you like best about Scrape Creators?

I use Scrape Creators to analyze Facebook Marketplace data for local resale opportunities, which is something I really appreciate having the ability to do. The programmatic way to search through listings saves me from long and manual searches. I really value the search filters, especially the feature that separates sold and available listings. Plus, the initial setup was very easy, which was great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scrape Creators?

One improvement would be more consistent metadata for Facebook Marketplace results. The inconsistency makes it difficult to determine how quickly items are sold. For instance, an item might appear in the sold results, but without a reliable creation or listing timestamp, I can't tell if it sold in two hours, two days, or several days.
