They are mostly like any regular registrar. **What do you dislike about Sav?** SAV gave me a real headache. I used their services for domain backorders back in 2021 and everything was okay. But in 2023, things got messy. I decided not to renew some domains, thinking it was the end of it. But guess what? SAV re-back-ordered and charged me again for them, without me saying yes or approving the transaction. When I complained, they said it was my fault for not deleting the backorders myself. Just to be clear, I didn't accidentally set them to auto-renew. I let those domains go on purpose, and still, they had the nerve to charge me again. The worst part? They never told me I needed to delete backorders myself AFTER they executed the transactions without my consent. No other registrar does that! Plus, they had no right to use my payment details for anything other than the transactions I made. One thing that bugged me was I couldn't remove my PayPal or card details myself. I had to contact support, which took forever to respond. That should've been my clue to get out. Beware of domain registrar SAV.com , do not register or transfer the domains to them, if you already have domains with SAV.com immediately transfer out the domains. Creating a website feature is good but loading time for each section takes more than expected, frequent page refresh is required and the autosave option is not available. Paypal payment is really good, rarrly i have seen such integration in the web. **What do you dislike about Sav?** The support has one of the worst otherwise the application does the needful. Most of the features are in beta and site recommend to use the legacy which I never seen anywhere. **Recommendations to others considering Sav:** Good for creating websites and development and make money out of it. First is the domain management user interface. With Sav you can get a well designed user interface for your domain with that you can easily modify DNS zones and nameservers. Sav also offers domain transfer for in and out. I Always consider the prices for the same domain and on Sav you can find the cheapest domains for almost all TLD. The third one is the customer support which is also great at Sav. However, I was only contacted by help with payment issues yet and not with technical problems. **What do you dislike about Sav?** Their API is not very good, and also, the API documentation is a 404 link in their website footer. When it was working before, the API was hard to use. **Recommendations to others considering Sav:** If you need a cheap, fast, and well-designed admin panel to manage your domains, you should try Sav. The benefit of Sav is that they can register a lot of TLD, and because of this, our company can have almost all domains in one place, which is excellent when you need to manage the DNS zones or nameservers. ### 9. Support isn't responsive and they have locked the domain with no recourse. 100% horrible. **What do you dislike about Sav?** Bought a premium domain and was hit with a 120 day transfer lock - they say it's for chargeback protection, fine. However, after 3 months, they wanted a renewal on a 1 year product and switched the DNS. After trying to renew, their system creates an error message and won't let anything go through. Support responded after a few days saying there is a bug. We are now going on 2 weeks with our website down and have had to register a completely new domain. Therefore, their verification email is sent to spam. What is worse is they disabled the domain without any reminder or second notice. I was left in the dark wondering what is wrong. They do not have any chat or phone number to call for this problem. I logged into the control panel, and there was no message that the domain has been disabled.
