SAV gave me a real headache. I used their services for domain backorders back in 2021 and everything was okay. But in 2023, things got messy.

I decided not to renew some domains, thinking it was the end of it. But guess what? SAV re-back-ordered and charged me again for them, without me saying yes or approving the transaction. When I complained, they said it was my fault for not deleting the backorders myself.

Just to be clear, I didn't accidentally set them to auto-renew. I let those domains go on purpose, and still, they had the nerve to charge me again.

The worst part? They never told me I needed to delete backorders myself AFTER they executed the transactions without my consent. No other registrar does that!

Plus, they had no right to use my payment details for anything other than the transactions I made.

One thing that bugged me was I couldn't remove my PayPal or card details myself. I had to contact support, which took forever to respond. That should've been my clue to get out.

Bought a premium domain and was hit with a 120 day transfer lock - they say it's for chargeback protection, fine. However, after 3 months, they wanted a renewal on a 1 year product and switched the DNS. After trying to renew, their system creates an error message and won't let anything go through. Support responded after a few days saying there is a bug. We are now going on 2 weeks with our website down and have had to register a completely new domain. I was left in the dark wondering what is wrong. They do not have any chat or phone number to call for this problem.
