"Solves many of our issues with supply chain assurance and granted us some unexpected benefits too."

5/5

What do you like best about Risk Ledger?

It is much faster to add, review, and communicate with vendors. We've seen far better engagement and the ability to converse on each individual control gives us better visibility of the factors around those controls. Having all the discussions and assessments on the platform allows any user to see the progress instead of having to go through the person who picked up the initial engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Risk Ledger?

The only aspect we miss the ability to ask bespoke or unique questions rather than the standard framework. A way to separately ask and track questions we might have of a subset of vendors and to be able to report on the responses might be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Risk Ledger solving and how is that benefiting you?

Our previous process was extremely manual relying on spreadsheets, email, and manually tracking review dates. Risk Ledger keeps everything standardised, centralised and automatically notifies us of changes and review dates. We had no formal process for storing evidence of the documentation we were told vendors held. Risk Ledger has functionality for the supplier to upload proof like certifications, policies, and process documents and to directly link those to the control that requests them. Reporting on compliance was very difficult and also very manual. Metrics around HOW compliant our vendors are was not considered, just a yes or no. Risk Ledger gives us many options for granular reporting including by business unit giving the business owners much better visibility of the risk their vendors represent. Previously we had no visibility of 4th and 5th party vendors, only our direct connections. Risk Ledger shows us much more information about our supply chain giving us early warning of risks as well as concentration risks where a vendor may supply many of our vendors. "Supply chain assurance made easy"

5/5

What do you like best about Risk Ledger?

I have used Risk Ledger for 3 years now. The platform is very simple to use for both clients and suppliers.

Whilst the assessment is the same for all suppliers, clients like us can tailor the policies they apply to each requirement based on the criticality of the supplier, the type of data they handle, or any other category you choose to apply. This means that my reviews are proportionate to the risk exposure and I can focus on the more material gaps.

One of the main advantages of Risk Ledger is that suppliers complete a single profile which they can then share with their clients on request. Suppliers benefit as they only have to do it once (besides regular updates obviously). Clients benefit too as other companies on Risk Ledger may have previously invited the same supplier which means it is already available as soon as they accept the connection requests.

Feedback from the majority of our suppliers has been good. The assessment is only about 200 questions which is fewer than those of tools I have used previously. The Yes/No style answers mean that it is also fast to complete, as long as the right expert is involved.

Finally, it is great that suppliers can add verbose answers and attach files, which I can then download in one go for review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Risk Ledger?

Risk Ledger being a start-up, they are still developing their product. They have the fundamentals spot-on and are seeking to expand the functionality based on client feedback. They have already delivered some of the enhancements we suggested rapidly. As their client base grows, we understand that they have to take everyone's feedback into consideration. This means we may not be able to get everything we want every time. However, supply chain risk management practitioners often want similar things, regardless of the company they work for; this means that enhancements that are delivered, whether we requested them or not, are usually quite useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Tom Baker of Risk Ledger

Yohann thank you for taking the time and energy for this very thoughtful review, as you said, we are still growing the product, however, having people like you using it and feeding back to us makes developing the right features much easier!
