"IT provisioning and app access made completely painless for everyday employees."
5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

The automatic app provisioning is fantastic. When I first joined the company, all of my required accounts (Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, etc.) were set up automatically on day one without having to wait on an IT helpdesk. Managing my device compliance and using the Single Sign-On (SSO) portal to access all my daily apps is incredibly smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

Sometimes the background Mobile Device Management (MDM) agent can trigger slightly intrusive prompts on my laptop regarding system updates or security compliance right in the middle of a meeting. It would be great if those automated reminders could be delayed or scheduled for outside working hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Focus on Centralized Management, Focus on Ease of Use & Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

What I like most is how seamlessly it handles employee onboarding and offboarding. With just a few clicks, we can ship a pre-configured laptop, provision all the necessary software accounts, and automatically apply security policies. This saves our IT team hours of manual work for each employee.

Another standout for me with Rippling IT is having Device Management (MDM), Identity/SSO, and app provisioning all unified in a single dashboard. Rather than bouncing between three separate tools to manage users and hardware, everything stays connected to the employee roster, which makes day-to-day management much more efficient. What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

High cost with add-on modules and customer support response times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rippling IT?

What I like best about Rippling IT is its ability to unify identity management, device management, access provisioning, and compliance into a single platform. Instead of relying on multiple disconnected tools, IT teams can automate onboarding, offboarding, application access, and device lifecycle management from one system. This not only improves operational efficiency but also strengthens security and compliance. The tight integration between employee data, user access, and device management is particularly impressive because it reduces manual effort and minimizes the risk of access or security gaps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

One potential drawback of Rippling IT is that its broad range of features can create a learning curve for new administrators. Because the platform combines HR, IT, security, and device management capabilities, configuring and optimizing all of its functionality may require significant setup time and training. Additionally, organizations with highly specialized IT requirements may find that some advanced use cases still require integration with dedicated third-party tools. "All-in-One HR and IT Platform That Streamlines Onboarding, Payroll, and Automation"
5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

Rippling IT simplifies user and device management by automating software access and permissions based on employee roles. It saves a lot of manual effort during onboarding and offboarding and gives us better control and visibility over our IT environment from a single platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

One thing that could be improved is the amount of configuration required to fully take advantage of some of the more advanced IT automation features. The platform is powerful, but new administrators may need some time to understand how policies, permissions, and workflows interact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rippling Makes Account Provisioning and Password Sharing Effortless"
5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

Being able to provision and manage employee accounts for other softwares inside of Rippling is a lifesaver. That way I just have to update and employee's data once and it "ripples" out to the other softwares they're connected to. I also use RPass and love using it for password saving and sharing. Takes a bit of time to get set up, but once you're in, you're golden. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

Almost everything in Rippling is customizable for what you need, but there are a few things that can't be altered, specifically RPass. It does make sense for security purposes, I just wish there was a bit more meat to it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined IT and Access Management from a Single Platform"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

What I like most about Rippling IT is its ability to combine identity management, device management, and application provisioning into a single platform. The automated onboarding and offboarding workflows save significant administrative effort, while Single Sign-On (SSO) makes it easy for employees to securely access business applications. The platform's integration capabilities and user-friendly interface help IT teams manage users and devices efficiently across the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

While Rippling IT offers extensive functionality, some advanced configurations can require a learning curve for new administrators. Troubleshooting complex workflows or integrations may occasionally require additional documentation or support assistance. Pricing can also become a consideration for smaller organizations as they scale and add more modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

Honestly, there’s nothing major to dislike. This platform is well designed and works really smoothly overall. A few advanced settings could be simplified with better guidance for first time users, but overall it’s one of the best IT management platforms I’ve used. Therefore No dislikes. What do you like best about Rippling IT?

Single source of truth for IT assets and their specs. Rippling IT’s MDM and Agents has increased security measures and added transparency for the IT Dept and end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

While there several optimizing factors using Rippling IT, there are some areas of improvement that Rippling can and is aware of.

• MDM commands are strong but can take several minutes to communicate with the end users computer / servers and back.

• Rippling IT’s device warehouse provision turnaround for new devices are longer than desired.

• RPass is helpful in sharing common website credentials with co-workers / admins but cannot stop saved passwords at the browser level if not originally intended to share. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for small, but mighty teams!"
5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

We were having issues ordering, tracking, managing, configuring and then retrieving devices for our teams as we were scaling. We do not have an IT admin and as the Recruiting Lead, I was feeling overwhelmed. We were also under the constant threat of scam and fraud. All onboarding and access configuration was also manual. We adopted Rippling IT and now we simply order and ship devices from within the platform and are able to reset password, unlock devices, have an IAM solution and even retrieve or reassign devices using the Rippling IT product.

It has made it simple for me as a non technical IT Admin to automate a lot of the process and manage it seamlessly.

We also started using Rpass, their product for password vaulting and that has also created consistency across teams and it is cheaper than other competitive password managers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

Nothing at all! We love it.. we are already using their HR product and this had made it a seamless journey for our employees without entering additional data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rippling IT: Benefits, Challenges, and Impact Review"
5/5
What do you like best about Rippling IT?

In my role as a senior data analyst in a startup setup, what impresses me most about Rippling IT is that it takes a holistic platform approach, where device life cycle management, access management, and employee onboarding and offboarding are done in one place. This is particularly important in a rapidly scaling business setup, where efficiency and governance have to go hand in hand. The major benefit is that there is centralized IT administration with extensive automation. Capabilities such as automated provisioning, real-time visibility into devices and apps, and access control based on policies make a huge difference in terms of efficiency, security, and scalability. For startups, it means that employees can be onboarded quickly, and IT administration, as well as data security, are accomplished without requiring a large IT staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rippling IT?

One possible con is that the extensive set of features offered by Rippling IT may sometimes appear complex to set up, particularly in smaller teams that do not have in-house IT experts. Furthermore, advanced customization or reporting integration may also need additional setup or technical work. Although the tool is very capable, it may become even more efficient for a fast-growing startup environment if some analytics flexibility and certain workflow processes could be improved.
