Automated electrical feeder sizing would be a big improvement. Working in central models is difficult for us. It features great tools for collaboration and visualizations which saves a lot of time. It has large library of built-in elements that can be integrated into one's project. Its compatibility with other programs and the facility of importing and exporting of projects makes it more professional. Its dynamo version is unique thing, with the help of this one can do so many things automatically and it saves a lot of time. Script writing in python language is very simpler rather than other languages. Its well-organized User Interface helps a person to understand it in a better way. It is very user friendly and consumes very less time in initial loading. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** The software have some scope of improvement though like it takes a lot of time while giving export of heavy files. sometimes, sometimes fatal error occur while working on higher data file. I think some navis feature should be in its tool labriary so that i can cordinate all service in revit itself. Very difficult to develop plugins to automate. Dynamo is still new and isn't very user friendly to let you build plugins or write script to automate tasks in revit. Creating custom equipment can be frustrating as the line drawing system is very limited, and doesn't always allow adjustments the way you want it to. There is no compatibility between old and new versions. It's fairly complex and requires experienced users to get the most out of it. **Recommendations to others considering Revit MEP:** Revit can be very useful and add a lot to what you can deliver in your project. But it can take some time to learn, and the cost of that to your company and your customers may not be what you need if you're not going to be using it consistently for projects. Also, be sure that if you are working with other disciplines in coordination, there won't be different versions used. This is a very complex application with a lot of features, however, it has well put-together documentation. The sheets are easy to set up. It is easy to edit, save and upload files. It also has great sample projects to begin learning with. It has great 3D effects and is one of the best modeling tools out there. It is nice to be able to build a model in 2D and then turn around and produce a nice 3D model out of that as well. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** The objects drawn are not always user-friendly. This program can be difficult to figure out, as there is a pretty steep learning curve. It can also be difficult to track updates that are made. It can also be very resource intensive, depending on the computer it is running on. It seems to consume a good bit of RAM at times. Well sadly, i can't tackle all the this it can offer but so starter, it reduces drafting, plan views, isometric and detailing of plan in by a huge time. Coordination of different services or system with the building is easily fix before hand the construction phase. **What do you dislike about Revit MEP?** Software looks little complex to use for new users when it to project templates.. you just can't work on HVAC or Other Services when your in Architectural template, need to switch with the template as per the service to work on. Files can't be saved in lower revision. System requirements is too high..
