## Resend Reviews
  ### 1. Developer-Friendly Setup, Reliable Delivery, and Powerful Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam B. | Power Platform Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Resend?**

Resend is developer friendly and was easy enough to setup. Mail delivery has been reliable and I like that I can see every message I sent on the dashboard. I especially like the template designer and have a dozen templates setup that I call from my app. Templates include embedded variables for personalization. Resend keeps coming up with new improvements and features so they're actively developing the product and service and they are responsive to feedback.

**What do you dislike about Resend?**

The templates designer takes some getting used to and is not quite a WYSIWYG interface and adding links could be easier.

**What problems is Resend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a solution to send notification emails from our web app. After looking into various solutions, Resend checked the most boxes and has a reasonable free tier.

  ### 2. Saves Time with Effortless Email Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richard S. | Chief Executive Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Resend?**

I like that Resend is super easy to set up and start sending emails without having to actually touch the Resend website; I just used command line interfaces for it. The setup for new properties is almost friction-free, literally taking less than one second. This saves me time and does exactly what I want it to do. The transition from using traditional big email services to Resend has been seamless, and I find it great overall.

**What do you dislike about Resend?**

Could be cheaper.

**What problems is Resend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Resend for all my projects, enjoying super easy setup and email sending without the website, just through command line. It's close to zero setup for new properties and saves time with almost friction-free setup, doing exactly what I need in less than a second.

  ### 3. Simple Email Delivery for Apps

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew M. | Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Resend?**

I like that Resend was relatively easy to set up, which made the process smoother for me. The low cost is a big plus for small apps like mine. Resend also handles the connections well, and all I need to do is verify my domain, tackling the challenging task of integrating email effectively. It helps with the big challenge of sending emails for marketers and app developers.

**What do you dislike about Resend?**

I think clearer instructions and onboarding would be helpful. Onboarding on how to monitor deliverability would be nice. Anytime DNS is involved, it's a little tricky.

**What problems is Resend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Resend to deliver emails for my app, solving the problem of email deliverability to customers. It easily handles connections, requires just domain verification, and its low cost is perfect for small apps like mine.

  ### 4. Streamlined Email Solution with Exceptional UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wouter R. | Co-Founder, Staffing and Recruiting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Resend?**

I love how Resend simplifies my workflow by replacing multiple tools like Mailgun and Mailtrap, while offering a much better user experience. The quick onboarding process is particularly beneficial, allowing me to get started with minimal delay. I appreciate the intuitive interface that ensures my interaction with the software is seamless and straightforward, escaping any unnecessary complexity or bloat. Additionally, the responsive and quick customer support provides me with confidence that any issues will be resolved efficiently. Resend eliminates the friction experienced with other alternatives like Sendgrid, where logging in can take several minutes due to unnecessary hurdles. The ease of the initial setup, supported by good SDKs, further emphasizes Resend's user-friendly design. Overall, the efficiency and convenience provided by Resend make it an invaluable tool for sending transactional and marketing emails, as well as offering users their inboxes.

**What do you dislike about Resend?**

I find the TypeScript npm package to have some inconsistencies, particularly with incorrect types, which can be problematic. This is hopefully something that will be addressed in future updates.

**What problems is Resend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Resend replaces multiple tools like Mailgun and Mailtrap, providing a better user experience with quick onboarding and an intuitive interface free of unnecessary friction.

  ### 5. Email (100% API access) for Devs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca P. | Chief Operations Officer DEQUA Studio | Formerly CTO in MarTech, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Resend?**

✅ What I really like:

	•	API-first approach: The platform is designed for developers, offering a clean RESTful API and official SDKs for Node.js, Python, Go, Ruby, PHP, Java, and more. This makes integration into modern stacks and frameworks straightforward, whether using serverless functions or traditional backends.

	•	React Email integration: Building and maintaining email templates is simplified with React Email support. I can use React components to create responsive, maintainable templates, avoiding the usual headaches of HTML table layouts.

	•	Robust deliverability features: Domain authentication (DKIM, SPF, DMARC), suppression list management, and dedicated IP options help ensure messages reach inboxes, not spam folders. There are also tools for monitoring DNS configuration and domain reputation.

	•	Real-time webhooks: Modular webhooks notify my application instantly about delivery, open, click, bounce, or spam complaint events. This is essential for building reliable, event-driven workflows.

	•	Clear analytics and logs: The dashboard provides detailed visibility into email activity, including delivery rates, bounces, and engagement. This helps me troubleshoot and optimize campaigns without digging through raw logs.

	•	Modern, minimal UI: The interface is clean and focused, making it easy to manage domains, templates, and contacts. I can start sending emails in minutes without a steep learning curve.

	•	Developer-centric documentation: The docs are concise, code-oriented, and cover integration details for multiple environments. There are also guides for debugging and error handling during development.

	•	Regional sending: The ability to send emails from the region closest to my users (North America, South America, Europe, Asia) reduces latency and improves deliverability for global applications.

	•	Simple pricing: Transparent, volume-based pricing with a generous free tier (3,000 emails/month) is ideal for side projects and early-stage products.

**What do you dislike about Resend?**

🟨 Pricing at scale: For high-volume scenarios, pricing may not always be the most competitive option compared to older providers with bulk discounts.

**What problems is Resend solving and how is that benefiting you?**

•	Streamlined integration: I can add reliable email delivery to applications with minimal setup, focusing on product development rather than email infrastructure.

	•	Consistent developer experience: Using React components for emails means I don’t have to context-switch between frontend and email template development. This reduces errors and speeds up iteration.

	•	Visibility and troubleshooting: Real-time webhooks and analytics make it easy to monitor delivery, engagement, and diagnose issues without guesswork.

	•	Deliverability confidence: With built-in domain authentication and suppression list management, I spend less time worrying about emails landing in spam or being blocked.

	•	Scalability: The platform handles both small projects and production-scale workloads without manual intervention or complex configuration.

	•	Global reach: Regional sending ensures users worldwide receive emails quickly and reliably, which is critical for SaaS and user-facing products

✅ My verdict: Resend is a modern, developer-focused email API that prioritizes ease of use, code-centric workflows, and reliable deliverability. It’s not a full marketing automation suite, but for transactional and programmatic email, it offers a streamlined experience that “just works” for dev teams
