What sets RedHunt Labs ASM apart is that it is a platform built by people who have actually done OSINT and attack surface enumeration : not just read about it. It doesn’t chase buzzwords but addresses practical challenges around unknown assets, exposed services, leaked credentials, and third-party risks. One of the most compelling aspects is their take on what constitutes an “asset” in the modern world. Their blog post on Redefining Assets provides a strong philosophical and operational foundation for the platform: and it shows in how RedHunt Labs ASM discovers and maps an organization's footprint. The platform’s discovery engine is context-aware and agentless, which makes initial onboarding frictionless and highly effective. Also commendable is their background in open-source tooling. Instead of wrapping their older project (DataSploit) into a product, they used the lessons learned from it to build something entirely new—tailored for real-world enterprise use. RedHunt Labs helps solve the unknown unknowns problem : digital assets that slip through traditional inventories and asset management systems. It improves visibility across public cloud, third-party vendors, and shadow IT. The platform also reduces noise with intelligent risk triaging and helps accelerate time to remediation. RedHunt Labs ASM is a solid, no-nonsense platform grounded in real-world problems. It brings together lessons from years of OSINT and red team practices and packages them into a platform that security teams can actually use. For anyone serious about external attack surface management, this tool deserves attention. The initial onboarding was smooth and we were up and running in no time. This being a SaaS service that continuously monitor resources and provide us with actionable intelligence has been a good start point for asset related queries for me. We have a large number of assets and are unable to track them efficiently because of hydrid infrastructure. We also have a lot of third party cloud saas apps. RedHunt Lab's ASM platform uncovered many such assets, and infact a few of them had major security gaps too. Having them look at our perimeter security continuously, gives us peace of mind.
