"Efficient and Easy: Raspbian for Development, Automation, and Docker"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Raspbian?

As an individual, I really enjoy using Raspbian because it's so efficient. I use it to do software development, automate tasks, and even run Docker containers. Everything from integrating with Linux commands to working with GPIO devices becomes very easy, along with working with any other free/open-source software. The installation and usage are quite simple, and being free is of great benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

The only minor drawback I've encountered is occasional software compatibility limitations with certain ARM-based applications, but it rarely impacts my day-to-day workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unbloated, Easy-to-Use OS from Installation to Everyday Use"

What do you like best about Raspbian?

I like how unbloated the OS itself is, and how easy it is to use, from installing it all the way to using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

I don't like the fact that it's made specifically for Raspberry Pi. It would be nicer if it was promoted to be used on regular machines other than Pis Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Embedded development OS (Excellent)"
5/5
What do you like best about Raspbian?

Honestly, the ease with which you can configure the various options available on the motherboard running this operating system greatly reduces setup time. It is very user-friendly and easy to interact with and make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

Let's say that my dissatisfaction with the point I am about to mention is NOT so much dissatisfaction, but it could be interesting and useful for those of us who already know and use it in equipment, to be able to have the same distribution but adapted to one or two other motherboard options that exist on the market and are intended for embedded development. I like that its based on debian and is great for learning how to code or work on IOT projects and also debian makes it easy to use most linux packages and commands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Raspbian?

When you run a lot of heavy programs at once, the perfomance slows down a little.

For new users, the file manager and system setting could be more user friendly.

A lot of time, you have to use terminal commands which can be hard for new users to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
