"Strong Tech, Poor Customer Service"
2/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I've been with RapidScale for over four years, and they're currently under contract managing our local in-house firewall. I find that the knowledge base they provide is the best part of their service. From a standpoint of their equipment or hardware, the service has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

Their poor service or poor response time really stands out to me. Their sales personnel have been extremely rude and unresponsive. When we file a support ticket, it usually takes twenty-four to forty-eight hours before they follow-up. In the first three years of our contract, I didn't hear from a sales or technical person not one single time. Their customer service and their personnel are extremely lacking. When we've tried to make contact, the sales representative was actually so rude that I would never even attempt to reach back out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional AWS Management and Flexible Services"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I appreciate that RapidScale supports several AWS accounts, covering consulting, patching, management, and monitoring. Their expertise in AWS is valuable, as they manage all aspects for us, offering both fully managed services and hybrid models. RapidScale's flexibility in allowing us to use their services as we need—whether fully managed or just certain features—is great. The features they offer are up to date and very useful, including rightsizing tools to manage AWS costs. We are satisfied with their overall services. They are a full-service provider, and the more resources we manage with them, the better the cost averages. They are always responsive, whether it's a production issue or a lower priority one. We found them engaging, listening to our needs, and performing tasks on time with quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Responsive Support, Expertise in Email Security"
5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I really appreciate RapidScale for their expertise and their ability to protect our systems from outside harmful sources like phishing and spam. They've been incredibly valuable in helping us maintain our emailing system and fight against these threats. I've found their support to be good, with knowledgeable and friendly techs who react quickly to any issues we're facing. They stick with a problem until it's solved, and even worked alongside Microsoft tech support to resolve a major issue within a decent amount of time. Every time I've contacted RapidScale, they've worked above and beyond to resolve issues and offer new capabilities. This level of support is impressive and makes me confident in recommending them with a score of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

I have no problems to report at this time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Cybersecurity Support with Room for Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I find RapidScale valuable for improving our company's cybersecurity posture against phishing attempts conducted via email, preventing costly cyber threats. I appreciate the platform's ability to hold emails based on content like suspicious subject lines or sender properties. The expertise in Mimecast and Microsoft administration has been particularly beneficial. I also enjoy the use of annotated screenshots in replies and appreciate that the tech team is typically upbeat in their responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

I don't like that the tech team doesn't always answer or address all the questions I have in an email. I once asked three questions in an email and the tech replied to only one of the questions in the reply and did not reference the other questions or suggest that they would get back to me about them. "Deteriorating Service and Unmet Needs with RapidScale"
0.5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I used RapidScale for managing my software licenses for Microsoft 365 and DUO, and syncing with Azure. Initially, they seemed to be the best in the business regarding service levels. They were proactive with their services to our servers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

I no longer find RapidScale valuable because they've changed so much in the last three years. We don't have a dedicated account executive anymore, and their response to tickets is slow—it's really frustrating. Their billing service is terrible; sometimes they don't bill us, or they say they haven't received our payments. Plus, we can only submit a limited number of tickets each month before they charge us extra. They used to be proactive with server updates, but now we have to remind them to apply updates. Overall, it feels like they do the bare minimum and don't really care. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Managed Service Model Adds Value Amidst Slow Email Response"
2.5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I appreciate how RapidScale helps in maintaining connectivity and access for our remote users, especially in the Philippines. Their ability to identify the root cause when users can't connect is valuable. I find their architecture and provisioning insights align well with our needs and staff size. Their managed support model is a standout, allowing our internal IT staff to focus on higher-priority work instead of troubleshooting AVD environments. RapidScale's assistance in implementing and managing our AVD has brought us workforce flexibility, and their managed service model offers an ecosystem advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

I think RapidScale could improve on having a more rapid response to emails. They use emails for ticket management, and sometimes faster replies would be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Decent Network Security, but Overpriced Support"
3/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I found RapidScale helpful in setting up a robust AVD in 2025, which has enhanced network security and stability. The purpose of this setup seems effective as I don't encounter issues related to it. Additionally, transitioning from a Citrix platform to Azure with RapidScale's help was smooth as they offered valuable training to staff. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

Their pricing is too high and it's ridiculous to charge $150 for every support call over four per month. The quality of service has decreased while prices increased dramatically after they split into two divisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable MSP with Comprehensive IT Solutions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I appreciate RapidScale's impressive team of knowledgeable engineers who have supported our IT infrastructure management and their expert deliverables that help with future planning specific to our company's needs without pushing high-cost solutions. Their competitive pricing and effective transition plan made my switch to them seamless. As the only IT person here, I value their assistance with backups, networking, and infrastructure management, which lets me sleep well knowing they handle updates overnight. They meet our cybersecurity requirements by keeping systems up to date and are capable of addressing outages during work hours. Security as a Service for both networking and email safeguarding is especially commendable, and they stay current with market trends, completing updates off-hours to avoid business downtime. I find their consistent communication during security patches and updates to be quite prompt and reassuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about RapidScale?

They are an MSP, which usually provides IT services for the whole company; because of that, their help desk format is set up for company users to call in. It would be beneficial to have a separate line for companies with IT people because I already know what the issue is, I just need assistance in fixing it. They make me go through all the steps when calling in an issue. Being in IT, it wastes my time because I already know the issue and resolution, I just am on the road or do not have the time to repair. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exceptional AWS Support with Expert Team"
5/5
What do you like best about RapidScale?

I like the responsiveness of the RapidScale team and their knowledge, which is very beneficial for a growing business. It's helpful to have another team reviewing and giving input on our changes for cross-validation. Their experience and knowledge, alongside the care of the support, make a significant difference in managing AWS, especially when it involves infrastructure and security. What do you dislike about RapidScale?

I think a better way to handle Terraform changes in a shared way would be awesome. Right now we have read access to the Terraform for our AWS but it would be nice to be able to collaborate with it. If we had write access we could create pull requests for RapidScale so it would be quicker for us and RapidScale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
