The options are almost limitless with Rackspace as they offer a very wide range of machines and virtual machines, and offer integration with cloud architecture. There are various options for load balancing, server setups and integration with complementary third parties such as frontend optimisation and diagnostic solutions. As Rackspace is a premium, enterprise solution, it is pretty expensive and difficult to justify for projects that may not be of a large enough scale. When the equipment becomes outdated there is a large cost incurred as we have used a dedicated hosting service.
