"Avoid Qonto and choose a provider that values transparency and accountability."
0/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

We chose Qonto for its promise of efficiency and simplicity. That turned out to be a costly mistake.

They charged us fees they have been unable to justify, despite repeated requests, and have repeatedly hidden behind vague and unsubstantiated explanations instead of providing evidence.

Based on our experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering Qonto to think twice and look at alternative providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

Qonto charged our company €100 without any valid justification.

The administration acknowledged its mistake and formally notified Qonto, yet Qonto still refused to reverse the charge. Even after we provided documentary evidence, they failed to explain the basis for the fee and instead relied on vague, inconsistent responses.

If a company cannot clearly justify the fees it charges, that’s a serious transparency issue. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding Qonto and choosing a provider that stands behind its decisions with facts, not excuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Banking, Time-Saving Invoicing with Great Speed and Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

Everything is straightforward, the UI is intuitive, I like being able to add invoices as soon as transactions occur. This saves a lot of time organising receipts etc. The invoice/quote generation tool is very useful as well, and it helps me generate invoices faster. Customer support is very useful as well.

It's fairly reliable and the speed is great. I haven't used the integrations nor the AI functionality, they don't seem that useful for me at this point.

The pricing feels right. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

There are too many pop-ups sometimes, too many nudges to get me to move up to a higher paid tier, such as whenever I duplicate a quote.

Sometimes I feel like the VAT recognition function is bugging and inaccurate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great UI, catastrophic support - lost my dispute rights due to their incompetence"
0.5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

The interface is genuinely well-designed. Clean, modern, intuitive. Daily banking operations like transfers, expense tracking and card management are smooth and easy. Onboarding was fast and the app is pleasant to use. As a business owner, I appreciated the simplicity for day-to-day financial management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

Customer support completely fails when you actually need it. I disputed unauthorized charges from Amazon after my seller account was permanently closed. I responded to every request with proof — screenshots, emails. Qonto repeatedly claimed they never received my replies, despite email being the only channel available. First dispute closed for "no response." Called and told to open a new identical one. Did that — same outcome. The phone explanation? My emails weren't processed because I didn't start with "Hello" followed by the agent's name. Absurd. I had 3 months to dispute. Their circular process burned that window. I lost everything. Formal demand letter via registered mail: zero response. Now with the regulator (ACPR) and mediator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Qonto: Intuitive platform with strong customer service and continuously growing features"
5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

We have been using Qonto for several years for our business account and are overall very satisfied. We are particularly impressed by the very intuitive and clear handling of the platform. Many functions are self-explanatory, allowing banking transactions to be completed quickly and easily. Initially, Qonto was very easy to set up, with everything being essentially self-explanatory. The Datev interface was also set up quite quickly.

It is also very positive that the range of functions is continuously being expanded. Qonto is constantly developing the platform further and regularly adds new features that are really helpful in everyday business.

Customer service is also a big plus: inquiries are answered quickly and issues are resolved reliably and satisfactorily.

The optional add-ons, such as for approval processes or supplier invoice management, are also practical. This allows the account to be flexibly expanded and better adapted to the company's own processes.

I use Qonto daily, and I particularly appreciate the intuitive handling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

Some advanced features are only available through additional add-ons. For smaller businesses, it may therefore be wise to carefully examine which extensions are truly needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Business Banking with English Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

I use Qonto for all my business banking and enjoy the electronic system that links to my accounting software with Dougs. I can easily see money coming in and upload invoices for payment. The handy app lets me keep track of all my business finances on the go. As an English speaker living in France, I find it very helpful that I can read and review my Qonto account in English, especially with business transactions. This option reduces uncertainty and allows me to manage my finances in my native language. Running a SAS business in France can be daunting, but Qonto reassures me by providing resources and support in English, making the process stress-free. Also, the initial setup of Qonto was really easy, which I appreciated while setting up my SAS business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, efficient online banking perfectly suited for entrepreneurs"
5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

Online banking very easy to use. Very efficient, regularly meeting my new expectations (such as electronic billing, ...). A bank in tune with the times that truly meets the expectations of an entrepreneur. Fair pricing for a small company. Customer support available in case of doubt. Proposal for remunerative term accounts CASHBEE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

Dashboard that should be a bit more developed without needing to switch to a premium plan (even if it means paying a bit more for the initial service). More offers of remunerative term accounts from CASHBEE. No offer of professional insurance for my activity via Qonto's partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Simple with Qonto"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

I really appreciate the feature of adding receipts that my accountant can directly retrieve, it makes me more efficient and saves time. The initial setup of Qonto was simple and quick. I plan the growth of my team with Qonto. I would give a rating of 9 out of 10 to recommend Qonto to a friend or colleague. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

I would like to be able to manage my VAT, receipts, and disbursements. It should automatically calculate what I receive and, with the invoices I pay, what I owe, so that transfers are automatically made to ensure the account dedicated to VAT is always funded according to what I actually owe to the tax authorities. "Exemplary speed and ergonomics, customer support needs improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

I appreciate the UX of the Qonto application, its execution speed, and its ergonomics. The ease of connection is a real advantage, as is the simplification of administrative procedures. Moreover, it saves me time compared to a traditional bank. The initial setup of Qonto was very easy, much simpler than with a traditional bank. Finally, the ability to connect Qonto to my accounting software Pennylane greatly facilitates the management of my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

Customer service is not always very responsive, no possibility to connect an American Express. The chatbot is rarely useful and interactions with real advisors are not always smooth. Being able to speak to an advisor (even AI) would be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, Intuitive, but Needs Better Accounting Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

What I love about Qonto is its ease of use and speed. Even someone who has never dealt with finances can easily handle and understand it. The interface is much smoother, simpler, and more intuitive than previous professional bank accounts at more traditional banks, and everything is really very easy to use. I also appreciate that creating a new bank account is very easy; you just need to provide a few legal documents and it literally takes 20 minutes. Using the app is also very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

It's that there isn't an integration with the accountants, I think, so we still have an intermediary tool between our accounting services that comes in between the two to address everything related to reconciliation, etc., really what the accountants need. It would be to avoid having this tool come between the two and for everything to happen directly on Qonto, which would make things even simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, But Lacks Complete Banking Features"
4/5
What do you like best about Qonto?

I love Qonto's internet application and its famous ease of use. The website is very pleasant to use and the native phone app is very flexible, which is great. In terms of ease of use, making a transfer or checking transactions is quite pleasant. I also appreciate that the initial setup is very simple, it just takes a few minutes to be operational. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Qonto?

I think that Qonto could increase in value by being a true bank, offering overdrafts, lines of credit, and such services, not automatically but on demand. This would allow for better integration into a complete banking system to replace a traditional bank, which would be, for me, the biggest point for Qonto to become my main bank.
