## About Push Security
Push Security is on a mission to defend organizations where work and attacks actually happen: in the browser. Built by red and blue team experts, Push gives defenders visibility, control, and response power in a layer that’s historically been overlooked, but increasingly targeted. Push is the most advanced security tool in the browser. It brings real-time detection and response to the layer where users work — and where attackers operate. By deploying a powerful agent inside the browser, Push gives defenders full visibility into user activity, attacker behavior, and browser-level risk. It detects threats like phishing kits and session hijacking, enforces protective controls like MFA and SSO, and provides the telemetry security teams need to investigate fast. Push works in any modern browser, deploys in minutes, and integrates easily with the rest of your stack — making it accessible to teams of any size.

## Push Security Reviews
  ### 1. Preventing identity-based threats to my organization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** URSINO P. | Content Creator, Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

It both actively scans for threats and reacts in case of an intrusion, providing me with a better overall perspective. This is also advantageous in having a browser-based agent rather than installing complex software. This must make push seem like the best all inclusive solution when it comes to identity security.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

A key problem area in Push is the alert system. Individual alerts do not come with a context and therefore identifying critical threats is not as easy when one receives a notification. I am buried under a pile of notifications and filtering out an actual message as pointless scrolling through an unimportant one.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push addresses an important concern – security of my organization from identity-based threats. I feel more comfortable knowing that nothing unusual will fall through the gaps in the monitoring with the help of the provided tool.

  ### 2. Push helps us pay attention to an otherwise lurking security threat

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastien J. | Chief Security Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

With Push we get near-total visibility of the SaaS used in our organisation, as well as the use of potentially risky integration permissions that could represent a threat to company information. They are extremely product-focused and actively listen to our needs in this space.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

No dislikes, the company is growing fast and ramping up their capability to develop more product functionality, and they actively listen to our needs.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In a SaaS-first company, shadow IT can very easily expand unseen, in particular the use of cross-service integrations. Push makes that visible to IT and security teams, and helps bring users into the process of understanding the risk and helping to mitigate it by eliminating any unneeded SaaS.

  ### 3. Product Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

Push provides services on threat management. But the best part for me is creating awareness on identity-based attacks.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

I have not come across any issues so far. Customer Support has been great

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push is aiding in the detection of identity-based attacks in their natural habitat, while also raising awareness about methods to reduce the impact of such attacks.

  ### 4. Product experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

Apart from the security servoces that Push provides, their agents also supply their clients with Insightful ideas on how to avoid software threats.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

I have not face any issues so far. Their service has been good.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push is helping in tracking identity-based attacks in the wild. They are spreading awareness on how to minimize these attacks.

  ### 5. Easy to use SaaS discovery tool + third party integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harpal D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

I love the way Push Security allows for SaaS discovery compared to some other tools out there (e.g. FreshService). Everything is presented cleanly and gives you full visiblity into your SaaS usage for each employee.

Having visibility into third party integrations is critical to stopping tools from having access to auth scopes which they either might not need, or we don't use their tools.

Deployment was super easy through our MDM.

Lastly, integrating with Slack is very useful and allows the ChatOps bot to autonomously educate employees on the risks of weak passwords, and what applications have the same passwords.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

Manually adding apps would be useful, as companies don't always use Google/365 SSO to login to platforms and may just use an email address/password.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securing user passwords, third party integrations and open mail rules

  ### 6. Solves shadow IT and insecure SaaS usage by employees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

Until Push, Shadow IT has been an incredibly difficult and time-consuming challenge. Push achieves this through a simple browser extension which protects employees' privacy, deploys easily and offers support to the end user through in-browser prompts.

Real-time Slack notifications are sent to the employee and security team when Push detects insecure usage of a SaaS app, i.e., 2FA not applied or bad or compromised passwords being used. This helps us understand where our password manager hasn't been adopted or if the employee is having difficulty using it.

The security team now receive real-time Slack notifications when new SaaS services are accessed by employees, allowing us to understand the impact and act immediately where necessary.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

Push is a new product, though their support team is very responsive and addresses issues quickly.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Shadow IT and insecure SaaS app usage by employees

  ### 7. Effortless SaaS management and security insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

Thanks to Push I now have visibility on SaaS tools used by my team, and I am able to maintain an up-to-date inventory. They provide valuable and actionnable insights regarding potential security risks.
The browser extension is clever, non-intrusive, and was developed with a strong focus on security and privacy. I also like the ChatOps feature, which empowers and educates employees.
The team behind Push actively engages with their users, attentively listens to suggestions and has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

Well, I believed my awareness program was effective, but now I see what my teammates are truly up to ...

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push helps eliminate shadow IT and enhances our compliance efforts

  ### 8. Great SaaS discovery tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

Push security helped us discover what SaaS was in our environment and how users were using it. The product gave additional security insights beyond just what apps were in play. It was instrumental in addressing compliance non-conformities.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

I wish there was an export ability for the apps in use for further analysis. I belive it's in the roadmap.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compliance and app discovery

  ### 9. Great UI/UX, Easy to Use and Deploy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Push Security?**

Push Security is easy to use and deploy, requires little maintenance, and has an excellent team behind it with a clear vision.

**What do you dislike about Push Security?**

No dislikes for now, but I'm excited to see them add to the solid foundation.

**What problems is Push Security solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Push helps us gain visibility into the SaaS and 3rd party applications in our environment and helps detect weak and reused passwords.
