What I enjoy most about Protege is that the software is easy to use, intuitive and very functional. We were able to quickly setup our door access control security, doors and users. Protege is able to connect to Active Directory to assist with user creation. The door access controls are stable and work very well. The software is not buggy, however is very consistant. The door readers, access control program and user management works well and rarely gives us issues. We are able to schedule holiday off hours and there are many additional features of the software. It is very well thought out programming. Protege does intergrate with many additional door access control platforms including Salto Systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Door access control hardware and software can be expensive. This solution is no different, however I can say that the software and hardware work very well. My largest dislike about the Protege software would be the Active Directory intergration, as it could be much easier. It is not impossible to get it working, however we had to contact their support department for assistance. Once working it is a great time savor and works well. different versions, sometimes needs to install different plugins for different purposes, like the version i used, for making graph we need to add graphviz into it, these types of effort feels little cumbersome to deal with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
