We were able to quickly setup our door access control security, doors and users. Protege is able to connect to Active Directory to assist with user creation. The door access controls are stable and work very well. The software is not buggy, however is very consistant. The door readers, access control program and user management works well and rarely gives us issues. We are able to schedule holiday off hours and there are many additional features of the software. It is very well thought out programming. Protege does intergrate with many additional door access control platforms including Salto Systems. **What do you dislike about Protege?** Door access control hardware and software can be expensive. This solution is no different, however I can say that the software and hardware work very well. My largest dislike about the Protege software would be the Active Directory intergration, as it could be much easier. It is not impossible to get it working, however we had to contact their support department for assistance. Once working it is a great time savor and works well. **What problems is Protege solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were looking for a door access control solution that allowed us to intergrate with Active Directory and other systems like Salto Systems. We were also looking for the solution that allowed us to provide granular security rights based on groups and door allocations. ### 2. In the environment that I have used Protege, it is for constant 24/ 7 monitoring for some telco exchanges, which goes from door locks, key access cards through to generator and air condition control. Having Protege handle a lot more of the day-to-day is excellent as it has dramatically reduced the need for daily or weekly maintenance. ### 4.
