Proofpoint DLP policies have been effective in preventing sensitive data from leaving our company. Currently, our main focus is on protecting banking information and Social Security Numbers, but we hope to expand these protections to cover additional types of data in the near future. Well the concern aren't really that many but a pretty big ones. The initial cost is quite big and its hard to setup. Also if you are doing this with a 3rd party company there is also the worry what they are doing with your data and how valuable are they for so called "scams" and potential data loss.
