The interface is a little rough in 2024, and the licensing is a little ridgid. While I understand their point of view, I would prefer the appliance to revert to a reduced functionality mode and offer a bit of a grace period. We all know the higher ups have plenty of time to get the quotes approved, but we also know they wait until the due date. This is not typically something controlled by the operator of the appliance and makes things rough at times. Not necessarily their problem, but most products are a tad more friendly on renewals. Kemp Load Balancers are now offered as a VM appliance which not only makes deployment easier, but also makes it a bit more nimble around our network.
