1. Metadata Releases: First AppOps is a significantly better tool than Change Sets for moving metadata changes from lower Salesforce development environments to higher ones. It allows Admins to have a powerful tool to move declarative changes without searching through thousands of records like other tools (like GearSet). Additionally, any Admin can save to Git Repos easier than other tools.

2. Sandbox Seeding: The ability to have a rapid data and metadata sandbox seeding process in an Agile development lifecycle cannot be underestimated. To do this with Administrators and without scripting out Scratch orgs (which at the time of this writing was still unstable) is a HUGE win.

3. Org Reboots: Regularly, organizations who have had their Salesforce for numerous years, have had inexperienced Admins or Developers, or an unclear development process creates a Salesforce org with a broken data model and deep technical debt. In this case, the most cost-effective resolution is a new build in a new Salesforce org and migrate the data. Here AppOps is an unsung hero. You can save tens if not hundreds of hours in this situation, completely eliminating the dreaded VLOOKUP process that so many of us know and hate so well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The metadata deployment tool is kind of clunky, it makes waiting for it to load and using it less likely by my team. We have gearset for that which is probably best in breed for metadata but not data deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our organization uses it to move data from one environment into another (From a Production to a Sandbox/Developer environment). We like viewing the details in the deployment results that help identify what may have caused the deployment to succeed or fail; instead of min/hours of manually troubleshooting, it's identified right away.
