Recommendations to others considering Prodly DevOps:
It is an excellent app for seeding datasets related to CPQ development. In our release process, we use Copado to deploy metadata and Prodly to deploy data. Prodly lets us create and store datasets in GitHub and seed those datasets to developer sandboxes. This saves us money by letting us have a small amount of licenses for full and partial sandboxes. When developers need a new sandbox, or if they need their sandbox refreshed, we can quickly seed the data they need for CPQ development into their Dev or Dev Pro boxes. I can't speak to the other continuous integration features because our organization has a multi-org license agreement with Copado, and we only use Prodly in one of those orgs. I'm sure that a smaller company could use prodly for their entire release cycle as well - I think it would be a very competitive product to something like Copado. What problems is Prodly DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?
In Salesforce, you can only natively seed data to sandboxes by cloning a partial or full sandbox from Production. The licenses for these boxes are very expensive - we were able to save a lot of time money by using Prodly to create and seed small datasets to developer sandboxes.
