Trying to do it manually with dataloader could take weeks and couldn't guarantee a working sandbox at the end of it. After about a week of familiarisation with AppOps to design the structure, I can now refresh a sandbox in just a few hours! **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** It does generate a lot of audit data. While this is useful for troubleshooting, removing it can sometimes be tricky given some limits in Salesforce for deleting records with children. But as long as you keep an eye on your usage it is manageable (and the benefits far exceed this minor downside). **Recommendations to others considering Prodly DevOps:** Quite simply, if you have complex relational data in your Salesforce org and a requirement to regularly refresh or create sandboxes, you should seriously consider this product. **What problems is Prodly DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?** AppOps ability to populate a sandbox with working data quickly allowed us to successfully complete a massive Community rebuild project in an limited timeframe, something we would never have been able to achieve without this product. ### 13. It is quite technical to use and to get right, but Prodly offers training on a regular basis, and is quite easy to reach in case you need help. **Recommendations to others considering Prodly DevOps:** Ask yourself what data migration tool you currently use, and whether or not it will be a struggle if you consider the complexity of the CPQ reference data. Prodly AppOps is the perfect tool for my use cases. It saves me 4-6 hours every deployment and allows my deployment plans to be exported and re-used. The tool also automatically creates any fields that were missed in the preceding metadata deployment and updates picklist values from Source to Target org (which is a huge value add for CPQ and Billing implementations). In addition to the ease and speed of data deployments, AppOps makes it easy to identify errors or exceptions during deployment and either stop the deployment or simply re-run portions of the deployment after issues have been addressed. It really removes a lot of the anxiety that often comes with large configuration data migrations and ensures that the deployment is 100% successful. Finally, given that CPQ and Billing data sets share the same core objects and relationships, I really benefit from the ability to reuse previous deployment plans and data sets from one organization to another. Definitely makes my life as a consultant just a bit simpler! **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** I don't really have any dislikes - it's a big help in all of my projects. For future product enhancements, I think it would be incredibly useful to be able to incorporate more metadata deployment features into the deployment plan. Additionally, it would be nice to have some options for integrating or associating data sets to user stories. **Recommendations to others considering Prodly DevOps:** The time savings, efficiency and ensured quality of data deployments make AppOps well worth the investment! **What problems is Prodly DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?** The primary benefits from Prodly are speed, and ease of exception handling. Also, after a successful deployment, I can hand my clients a reusable template for ongoing development/deployments. It helps me migrate/deploy data sets with more than 40-50 tables with complex relationships with the click of a button rather than 4+ hours of manual, riskier dataloader work. ### 15. We are fairly new to CPQ and the amount of time this would take to move data manually was astonishing. This has help us to speed up the process of our releases. Specially since we are a CPQ customer which handles a lot of data for the product structure in Salesforce. The great thing about moover is that it does not stop just there and we can also use this to move data from other objects. Instead of working out of spreadsheets constantly moover has done things fairly easy for us. Also uses, SOQL queries which helps to target specific data that needs to be move across Orgs in Salesforce. **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** I would like to be able to also delete records using moover. This is a feature not available yet. There are many objects used to configure CPQ with complex data relationships, so it is difficult to move from dev > test > UAT > staging > production without a lot of manual effort and potential errors. As such to push that data into production, it has to be imported in a specific order based on data model. This is a very sensitive procedure that causes the import to fail if done incorrectly. This is a very time consuming task that Moover does in minutes. Our migrations went from taking 2-3 hours to 15 minutes. Prodly Moover pays for itself in lost time and really makes configuration so much easier for Admins. **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** There's not too much to dislike, but I'd definitely like a better record of changes and better description of record migration failures. **Recommendations to others considering Prodly DevOps:** Implementation is easy. They give free training on how to use the product. It's fairly easy to use for a Salesforce Admin. The product saves multiple hours of aggravation of migrating records manually into Salesforce for CPQ. I'd definitely recommend this product for use of data imports for a new Salesforce CPQ. **What problems is Prodly DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?** Solving the time to commit changes from Sandbox to Production in CPQ. Allows constant pushes instead of periodic record migration via imports. ### 23. That makes it easy for maintance even when sprints are changing. - build on salesforce - event-handling (deactivate validation rules / workflows etc) **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** There is not a real dislike but I miss an UI to manage records before a seeding is started. I love being able to follow best practice and build CPQ in my sandbox then with clicks deploy entire data sets within 30 minutes or less. Moreover helps mitigate many of the errors involved in complex relational data migrations while cutting the time for these projects significantly. Between the product it's self, and the outstanding support Prodly provides, the value becomes apparent very quickly. **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** There is no one thing that really jumps out regarding my dislikes. I like that Prodly was purpose-built with CPQ in mind. **What do you dislike about Prodly DevOps?** With the creation of Virtual ID and new datasets, there's not much to dislike here. I wish Prodly could be as good as migrating non-CPQ data so I could use it more and more. **What problems is Prodly DevOps solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a Salesforce CPQ implementation team. This means we need to move CPQ data frequently, from build development sandbox to test environment to production. We are able to reduce the risk of our migrations using a tool like this. Since CPQ data is highly relational, this makes Prodly Moover a must-have. ### 31.
