"Effortless Video Management with Innovative Features"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

We use Playlister to play video content in our classrooms and small venues throughout our church. I love how Playlister allows us to easily upload video content and distribute it from a centralized platform. It's super easy to use and so intuitive that it rarely requires any training. I also love that I can send private links to group leaders so they can preview content from home to prepare their lessons. It's great how easy it is to use and deploy, and Playlister is always innovating by listening to client feedback. The setup process is quick and straightforward, just put an Apple TV in a classroom, deploy the Playlister app, add the new screen, and that's it. Playlister adds value by incorporating features like being able to show YouTube videos, a slide editor for creating and modifying content on the fly, and a video editor for changing start and stop points to trim videos. I highly recommend Playlister and appreciate that it just does what it's supposed to do, making rooms with Apple TVs a lot easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Playlister Made Ministry Media Easy and Enjoyable Again"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

IT MADE MY LIFE SO EASY!!! We use Go! Curriculum and I was spending hours a week building powerpoints and uploading them to another "file storage" website only to have issues streaming it on Sundays. My heart is overwhelmed with gladness that Playlister made this area of ministry enjoyable for me again! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

I do not always prefer having to connect to wifi and turning the Apple TVs to get into Playlister in order for them to download to each device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"While not perfect, Playlister solves some big problems and saves us a TON of time!"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

Integration with apple tv makes it easy to put on multiple screens in different rooms. This solves a major hassle when it comes to putting everything together. You do it once and it shows up in every classroom. Quick and painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

Trying to get it on a projector is problematic when it comes to audio. especially it the projector is not near the sound board, like a ceiling mounted situation. This makes it so we have to use pro presenter on our main screen but it would be really handy if there was a desktop version of Playlister or some kind of desktop integration that would allow us to use it for EVERYTHING. Not just our smaller classrooms with televisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Use and Team Training, But Very High Costs Adds Up Quickly"
4/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

The ease and access of adding slides. Whoever you want on your team can have an account and it is super easy to train how to add media and make playlists. Plus, teaching your volunteer teams how to access the app and use it is just as simple. Getting the TVs setup with the app is not difficult at all. We have multiple classrooms that use it for one playlist, but one room that runs multiple, and having these setup and integrated was extremely easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

The cost. Buying Apple TVs upfront is expensive and the subscription can add a lot to the cost. For the lite version, running 7 screens, we are already paying 4x as much as we do for 20 seats of ProPresenter. If you want to not buy Apple TVs but rent, you pay even more, which just after a year ends up being more money than buying the Apple TVs and running Lite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"10/10 LOVE Web-Based Flexibility with Minor Printing Quirks"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

One of the best things about Playlister is that it is web-based and allows me to work on our presentations/programming from any computer and not just in the location where the presentation will take place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

I have found very few downsides of playlister - especially when compared to previous platforms. I find little things that could be added to it to enhance what it offers, but no real downsides. The only real "dislike" I have is that when printing the playlist - the slides aren't numbered which can sometimes be a pain. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup and Outstanding Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

Ease of use for the end user. Managability of users and devices. The Support team has been great with support and answering any questions I've had. So far implementation has been easy. Setup the show, tag it to the correct screen and sit back. The level of tech-savvyness volunteers goes down. There are less likely to be issues for the volunteers to troubleshoot if any. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

I would like to see the ability to do more design work in the app. ie. add text over graphics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Content Sharing Significantly Helps Teaching"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

We have really enjoyed how EASY it is to upload content and share it across screens in or program. We use it every Sunday morning for our preschool through middle school Sunday school classes. We can be unified as a program with what we use for our curriculum and our teachers do not have to worry or spend time uploading videos for their lessons. When we rolled out Playlister we had excellent support and a few video calls with a Playlister team member to make sure we were set up well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

It's sometimes hard to organize a lot of information/slides and easily see them to shuffle their order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform That Simplifies Lesson Planning and Classroom Use"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

It is extremely user friendly both from the development side and how it's implemented in the classroom. My administrative support team enjoys how easy it is to build playlists, and my teaching staff loves how everything they need for their lessons is in one place and easy to use. We use Playlister every week for our Children's Ministry needs. If any of my team has questions, the response time and friendliness of the Playlister support team is wonderful! What do you dislike about Playlister?

I have yet to find anything to dislike! Something new is added almost weekly that makes us go, "WOW! Now we can even do THAT with Playlister!" Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Media Integration and Seamless Apple TV Experience"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

I really like the ability to add YouTube videos straight into the browser. I also like the ease of use. Using the Apple TV makes it simple, and adding media through the web browser is very helpful. If I can't access my computer, being able to do it on an iPad is helpful. When I had an issue, I emailed customer service, and they responded quickly and were very helpful. I truly have been incredibly happy with the service! I cannot recommend it enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

My biggest downside is that the YouTube downloader is in beta, and it has been unavailable at times or has been very slow. Also, when adding multiple media files at once, it can get bogged down and sometimes fail to upload. My final recommendation is not to complain; if there were an iPad and iPhone app to add media, that would be fantastic. Using the mobile web browser can be difficult at times, and an app would solve that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We love playlister!"
5/5
What do you like best about Playlister?

It's so helpful and easy, both for our staff and serve teams! We've had almost no issues with it, and it is way easier and cheaper than paying for computers and presenting software like we did before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Playlister?

The file manager system and the playlist manager system is a little clunky. As of right now, if I create a new folder or playlist, it always creates it outside of the system instead of inside the folder I'm currently in, which means I need to drag and drop the playlist I want to use into a folder after creating it. But this is very nitpicky! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
